Not for those in your way.

You peek your head out of the door to the hallway. It is lit by a few torches along the walls. Ragged and tattered old banners hang down from the ceiling and you can hear the sounds of rats running about.

"Nothing to do but venture forward I guess." You say in a confident manner, as you step out into the hallway.

You walk around for some time, following the bends of the hallway and going up the stairs where possible.

During your walk you see alot of paintings and busts of people. By your guess you would say they are some sort of dwarven race perhaps. The jeweled beards of the men and the extravagant braids of the women makes you think of dwarves from other games you have played.

After a few more minutes of walking up stairs, you finally come to a big double door, old, rusted and beaten. You try to push it in, but as you door it starts to creak and croak with every milimeter it is moved.

You take a deep breath and prepare for the worst. The sound of the door will deffinately alert everyone nearby. You give the door a big push, powerful enough to make the hinges break and one of the doors falls to the ground with a large BANG!

You eyes moves from the fallen door, to the room you just opened up. It looks like a big welcome hall in a castle. On the other side of you, you can see sunlight peaking in between the giant gate doors. Your mood instantly rises, but is quickly turned into a bit of worry as you look around. The room is also full of the same skeletons you met earlier, only this time there are more than four of them. You do a quick headcount before anyone is able to react to your sudden intrution, and count at least 10 of them. "Shit! This is going to be tough." You say as you grit your teeth.

Suddenly your eyes fall on something or someone laying on the tile floor, close to the gate. It looks like a humanoid from where you stand, with green skin and long braided crimson red hair. The figure is somewhat feminine from what you can see.

What instantly makes you worry, is the big pool of blood you see around the person. The skeletons have obviously tried to kill it, but you can see that it still breathes.
