Not exactly. Deal #2

The two of you discuss the trade for a bit but you really want to stick with only using one type of bullet for every gun, it just seems easier, besides what if he is wrong and you can't learn is spell. Finally he casts a spell that allows him to talk to someone else somewhere. You sort of think he is just insane but nope, in a flash of blue he casts a spell that teleports his guns away and a few minutes later poof 2 new ones appear. One is a big revolver tucked into a dark brown leather holster, the other is a rifle but shorter than the last, much shorter. There is also a box of what you assume is extra goodies.

“Ok, a friend had this, we think you will want it. Both firearms are.44 magnum, very powerful, well less than the rifle I had, but both of these way outshine what you have and even make the .45 pistol I had look weak. I'll have you shoot each to be sure you can handle the recoil.” He lets you feel each gun. As you do he gives you the lowdown. “The pistol is a 6 shot like yours but double action so you don't need to pull the hammer back, plus here slide that forward, see the cylinder swivels out for easy reloading.”

“Oh, very cool. I think it is lighter also.”

“Yes with this ones 4” barrel it weight a bit over two lbs, yours was more like three.” Then he hands you the rifle. “Ok bolt action and it holds 5 rounds, but look, push this here and the magazine comes out. You fill this with ammo or swap it with a full mag and you are ready to go, very fast. There are 2 extra magazines in the box here.” He then spends the next hour showing you the ins and outs of firing, cleaning, running the bolt, before having you take them out back and fire off a few rounds of each. The pistol kicks like a mule but with two hands it is fine and even one handed you can handle it. The rifle however, the first shot pops the apple you were aiming at and in that instant you are sold, it is just awesome. You can feel how powerful it is yet you can handle it easy as can be, it also only weighs six pounds, so a much lighter load. You finish with a new belt that sits low on your hip for the holster that hangs even lower so it is on your leg. A second belt full of little hoops for bullets plus 5 little pouches for rifle magazines and other things you wear loose at your waist so you can easily spin it around for easier loading. He ends up giving you a new bullet mold and press just in case, plus the spell scroll.

Finally you give him a big hug which you can tell he still thinks you are most likely a little boy so he finds it awkward. Then you sling the rifle, which he let you know carrying weapons here was normal. He also insists if you concentrate on growing hair every night before bed, it will grow.

Next stop food, well that is your plan, but walking past the brothel you see an absolutely beautiful elven woman in a sexy backless blue sundress and 8” heel sandals, with long flowing blonde hair. She smiles at you as you pass calling out, “Hey little guy, want me to pop your cherry?”

“Don't do it, she will wreck you.” A voice calls out, turning you see a just down right evil looking girl all covered in tattoos and piercings wearing a black leather bikini and knee high boots with 4” heels.

“Mind your business Raven.” The elf yells to her and both laugh. Then to you, “Coming in?”
