"Uh. No." She said bluntly. "I think that's stupid, and that you're being stupid right now."

"YOU'RE FIXED! Oh thank god, you're back to normal like you should be!" You cheered and jumped for joy, knowing that she will never get hurt or be used by your mind control powers ever again!

Meanwhile, Alice kept staring at you as if you suddenly grew a second tongue on your forehead. "Ahuh..."

Looking back at the clock, Alice cursed at the time, "Aw shit, I'm five minutes late for the subway train! I'm gonna need to hail a taxi just to get to work on time." Moving back to her room, and picking up her blue bra on her way (which she was really confused as to how it got on the floor), Alice went to prepare herself to go to work, "Listen, I don't know what's going on, but you better tell me later when I get back home. I hate being left out of the loop, you know."

Realizing that she was about to leave, you stopped your epic victory dance to ask her a few questions. "Alice, wait. What was the last thing you remembered when I asked you to make me some lasagna?"

"Me saying that I can, but don't want to?"

"And after that?"

"You suddenly hugging me out of the blue?" She tilted her head.

"Do you remember anything else in between that?"

"Uh... No. You kinda just hugged me, and that's all I remember."

Ah. So not only did your command fix everything, it made her forget everything that just happened this morning.

Probably for the best.

"Do you know why I hugged you, Alice?"

"Not really. Why did you hug me?"

You smiled warmly at her. "Because you're the most awesomest friend a guy like me could ever have, and I'm glad to have met you and have you be a part of my life."

Taken back from your sudden sentimental statement, she grew a faint blush on her cheeks, "That was surprisingly sweet and mushy, coming from you."

You shrugged, "I just suddenly realized how important you meant to me, and felt like I had to let you know."

She looked away for a brief moment, before smiling back, "Thanks John. I feel the same way about you too!"

With everything being said and done, she went back into her room, leaving you alone to your devices.

The adrenaline and rush of everything that's happened to you this morning has finally taken it's toll on you, as you fell back onto the couch and gave a deep sigh of relief and tiredness.
