New arrival

As it turns out, Gregor does in fact remember you. He greets you with a handshake. “It’s good to see you’ve done well, Greg. And who have you brought with you?”

You gesture to the girls in turn. “Naia, Aisha, and Marin. The raptor sisters I met on the road, as you expected I would, and Marin is part of a group I met in the dwarven city.”

Gregor nods. “Very good. A pleasure to meet all of you. Our new arrival will be here soon. I assume that Unir told you that she wanted to join you?”

Naia grins. “Yup! And who wouldn’t!”

Aisha laughs. “Out of curiosity, does this happen often? Both the escort and the joining an established group?”

Gregor shrugs. “If someone is less combat capable, we try to offer protection. For Greg it wasn’t an issue, he picked up swordplay quickly, and his magic talent has many applications for defense. As to your other question, no, it doesn’t happen often, though it’s more common among female travelers. As all of you know, monster girls bond more strongly with male humans. So, oftentimes women will jump into an established group. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.”

Marin grins. “We’ll do our best to make her feel welcome!”

Gregor laughs. “I’m sure. However, I would ask that you wait in the other room. We try not to overwhelm travelers as they come through, it’s a big experience.”

You nod. “Of course. Is there anything else we should know?”

He smiles. “Her name is Julie, and she’s apparently quite excited to meet all of you. Now then, there’s food and seating in the other room. Help yourselves.”

The four of you move to the waiting room, and get comfortable. Everyone relaxes and nibbles at the available snacks, though Naia can’t seem to sit still. After some time, you hear voices from the portal room, though you can’t make out the words. A short time later, you hear footsteps approaching. Gregor enters the room. “Everyone, meet Julie.”

A young woman walks in, looking rather nervous.

She is short, smaller than Naia, and of a similar physique, though her baggy clothing hides much of her shape. Short brown hair frames an attractive face, with big brown eyes that look over your group. She has a few earrings in each ear, and a leather choker around her neck. Julie is wearing a baggy black T-shirt and a pair of jeans, but even in the loose clothing you can see she’s petite.

She looks at the four of you for a moment, and then a smile spreads across her face. “So…you’re my new family? Awesome!”

Before you can answer, Naia bounces up to her. “You’re so cute! I like you! My name is Naia!”

Julie giggles. “Hi Naia! You’re so cool, are you a raptor?”

Naia nods. “I am! And that’s my sister, Aisha!”

Julie looks at the older raptor girl. “Sisters? Wow…and both in the harem together?”

Aisha laughs. “Yes. And we were Greg’s first monster girls.”

Julie smiles and looks at you. “I suppose I should say hi to you too. Hi!”

You chuckle. This girl has as much energy as Naia. “Hi Julie. It seems like you’re happy to be here.”

She nods. “I am, this is so exciting! I’m already meeting cute girls, and a cute guy! This was a great decision!”

Marin laughs. “Hey, I’m here too…”

Julie gasps. “Woah! Look at you, all big and muscled! I bet you could pick me up with one hand!”

She turns back to you, smiling. “So, is this everyone?”

You shake your head. “We left the others at home. The sisters made the journey with me before, or I should say we met on the road. Marin wanted to come along as well. We left the other four behind.”

Julie laughs. “Well, aren’t you just a big shot, with so many girls! Are you sure you have room for me?”

Naia answers in your place. “Of course he does! The more the merrier! You did just miss out on our skinny dipping beach orgy, though.”

You chuckle. “Naia, while that’s true, maybe let the poor woman get used to us first.”

Naia pouts, and Julie laughs. “It’s fine! I knew what I’m getting into. And I’m looking forward to it!”

Naia gives you a triumphant look.
