Heading north, again

The five of you gather your belongings, say goodbye to Gregor, and head out to begin your trip north. Julie walks beside you, a big smile on her face. “This is great! A big adventure to start my new life! And I get to go with fun people!”

You chuckle. “You seem happy to be here, Julie. Can I ask why you decided to leave the new world?”

She grins at you. “You first. I wanna know all about you guys.”

You nod. “That’s fair. I came because my life was going nowhere. No real friends, stuck in a pointless job, and basic loneliness. I had nothing to lose and everything to gain.”

You glance at Aisha. “And it worked out wonderfully. The sisters…ambushed me a couple days into my trip, and from there it only got better.”

Naia’s laughs at your description of your meeting. “Ambushed is one way of putting it!”

Julie laughs. “Sounds like there’s more of the story?”

Aisha nods, and describes their plot to get your attention. Julie laughs, looking back to you. “So, a couple of hot raptor girl sisters seduce you? Sounds like a good time…”

You grin. “It definitely was, and still is. They introduced me to their friend Lylah, a wolf girl we left at home, and the four of us made the trip to the dwarven city.”

Julie looks to Marin. “And they met you there?”

Marin nods. “Me and three others.”

Between Marin and you, the tale of the last few months plays out, with Julie listening intently. The smile never leaves her face. When you finish, she looks at you with a mixture of awe and excitement. “So, are you some kind of super stud or something?”

You laugh. “Hardly! I do my best, and I care about all of the girls.”

Naia cuts in. “Plus he’s a super stud!”

That gets nods of agreement from Aisha and Marin, and you chuckle, embarrassed. Julie nudges you with her elbow. “So you’re humble too! Well, my story isn’t super exciting, really.”

She sighs, her smile fading slightly. “I was an orphan growing up, and ended up getting into some rough spots. I’d rather not talk about it too much, honestly. As soon as I hit eighteen I left, and kinda bounced around. Spent the last couple years trying to figure out what to do with my life, when I saw an ad for the AWIO.”

She looks around, her smile returning slowly. “A chance to start over, and a chance to meet good people. But I’m a girl. And a little one at that. So I asked if I could hook up with an established group, just to try it out, and stay out of trouble.”

She gives you a wink. “So far it seems like it was a good idea!”

Naia grins. “The best idea! Now I’m not the only young one! And not the only one who doesn’t have big boobs!”

Julie laughs. “That’s right! Small boobie club!”

You glance at Aisha, who is watching her sister and smiling. You chuckle, and she smiles at you. You nod.
