'Oh, Fuck!' Dr. Young stared straight at her, an inquisitive look on her face. "I don't know," Tera lied. "But I think I've had enough excitement for one day. "Now I really wanna get out of this suit, could you help me?"

"Of course," The other two hurried to help her get the suit off.

Tera had barely gotten out of the suit before the Lieutenant had hugged her hard. "I'm so glad you're okay!"

"Me too," Tera tried to laugh. "I think I should probably get back to the lab."

"Of course," Leticia said. "Hey, I'm off duty in an hour, you wanna come join me for a drink? I've got some good stuff back in my quarters. You too Katie."

"Oh hell yes," Tera giggled. "I haven't had a drink in… since we came down here."

Katie seemed equally excited to be invited. "Of course!"

"You'll be at the lab and I'll come find you?"

"Sure," Tera smiled. 'Oh, I'm getting some tonight!'

When the door opened, it was all business again, the Lieutenant nodding to her subordinates, and Tera taking the two new assistants in tow and heading back to the lab.

"How was Dr. Young?" James asked as soon as they were out of sight of the guards.

"Infected," Tera said flatly, "and lively."

"Lively?"

"Yeah. Dr. Meng looks like some kind of anime penis monster, in case you care," she added, hoping to cut off further discussion about Dr. Young. She wasn't exactly sure how she was going to explain that one. 'Hopefully no one wants to test me, it would have been so bad if she'd touched me. I've got to be more careful. And now that I've invited these two, I don't know when I'm going to have a chance to talk to Sarah. I wonder if she knows about Dr. Young stopping. It sure felt like I somehow commanded her to stop. "Tera?" Katie asked tentatively.

"Yeah?"

"Do you think Dr. Young is… Is there any of her left in there?"

'That could be a good cover.' "Maybe? That would explain her behavior."

They reached the lab, "This is it," Tera said. She opened the door, and found Sarah sitting at her desk talking quietly with Joslynn. "Sarah, I found us some help."

Sarah glanced over at them, "Aren't those Dr. Young's assistants?"

"I guess you haven't heard then?" Tera asked as they walked closer.

"What happened?"

"Dr. Meng and Dr. Young both got infected in an accident," Katie said. "Tera thought you might have some work for us to do?"

"There's always work to do," Sarah laughed. "But not tonight. Be back here in the morning and Tera and I will put you to work. I'm not a hard ass for attendance, whenever you get here is fine. If you get her before 9, you'll be here before me," she winked.

James smiled, "Okay, see you tomorrow, Doctor." He was gone in a flash. Katie hesitated, looking at Tera.

Katie glanced at Tera, "I need to use the potty, you won't leave without me right?"

"Or course not," Tera smiled, trying desperately to her impatience for the door to close. "Sarah, I need to talk to you. Privately."

"Joslynn's one of us, you can say it in front of her."

Tera took a deep breath, and gushed the whole experience out as fast as she could. When she got to the Dr. Young part, she stopped. "Sarah, I swear I controlled her. With my thoughts."

"I think it's likely you did. I discovered today that I could control the Alpha with my thoughts, so that you could control someone isn't surprising."

Tera paused, 'Can you hear this?'

'Yes,' Sarah thought back.

'Me too,' Tera was sure that was Joslynn's voice.

"That will be useful, especially with our new uninitiated help," Sarah muttered as the door swung open and Katie came bounding back in. "What'd I miss?"

Before anyone could answer the door swung opened again, and Leticia stuck her head in, "Tera, Katie, you ready?"

Tera smiled, "Yup, coming."
