Mr. Marshall arrives

Mr. John Marshall entered the office and immediately paused as he saw everyone working quietly along with a wet floor sign with a mop and bucket next to it. “Hey, where’s Lauren?”

Jennifer pointed to the office she had Lauren working in. “I’m sure she is hard at work. Despite her accident everything is on schedule.”

“Accident?” John said. “What accident?”

“Oh… Lauren just had a little incident. It’s been sorted now. You should go look though,” Jennifer said.

John tilted his head but nodded as he approached Lauren’s office and opened the door. His jaw hit the floor as he saw what almost looked like a 5 year old coloring with a pacifier in her mouth. Her legs kicked back and forth causing her shoes to light up each time.

“LAUREN?!” John yelled. “What on Earth are you doing?!”

Lauren looked up, her jaw dropping as the pacifier fell out. “M-Mr Marshall… I can explain!”

“No,” Jennifer said as she walked into the office. “I can explain.”
