Marigold gets past her friend.

Thank God in Heaven, Marigold thought to herself, still running as hard and fast as she could. It didn't look like Lena was even paying attention, and Marigold was so very thankful for that. If she had been seen wearing these clothes, with what she had on her face, well, she would never be able to show her face at church again. She probably would have been disowned! But thankfully, it hadn't come to that, and Marigold continued on her **** way.

The convention hall was more difficult to navigate than she had thought. She had had the other BB Brigadiers with her when they had left the room that morning, but now she was alone. Even though she was pretty sure she knew the way back to the hotel room from here, she couldn't be certain. Marigold's decisions that day hadn't been the best, anyway, and she was **** to start doubting herself.

The hotel lobby, unlike the hallways, was packed with people. They were mostly tired cosplayers or families with small children, unable to keep up with the intensity of the Seriously Awesome Expo. Marigold didn't blame them. If she hadn't been... occupied all day, she probably would have been resting in the lobby just like them. Still, she couldn't waste time empathizing with these people. She had a hotel room to get to!

Mari was like a lightning bolt as she crossed the lobby, a blur of white and gold and pink moving faster than the eye could see (she hoped). The truth was that most of the people in the lobby could see one scantily-clad and large-breasted young woman running as fast as they can with a furious, **** look on her face-- not to mention what else was on her face as well.

"Whoa!" one guy said, elbowing his buddy in the side. "Get a load of this!" Marigold winced as he pulled out his phone and started snapping pictures. There wasn't anything she could do about it, though, no matter how terrible she felt, and she could only hope that her face wasn't clear from the distance and the motion that she might not be identified on one of those NSFW cosplay sites.
