Marigold in the hotel.

Marigold had escaped the lobby. All the people she had passed had been able to see her and see the state of her costume. That was mortifying, only topped by the fact that some of them might have noticed what was... on her face. But still, no one had recognized her, and now she was almost to her destination. She had almost made it, and then she could be free of this horrible embarrassment.

Her inner self was screaming at her to run as fast as she could through the halls of the hotel, but Marigold knew that that would only draw more attention to herself, and to her... exposure. They were mostly empty, since it was the middle of the day and almost everyone staying at the hotel was attending the convention, but if anyone showed up, well, then she would be in trouble.

The BB's hotel rooms were on the upper floors of the hotel, which meant that Marigold would have to trap herself in some sort of tight space in order to get up to them. As she turned the corner, she found herself face to face with a sign sticking out from the wall that read STAIRWELL A. She was pretty sure that it had been Stairwell A that the BB Brigade had taken to get down to the convention hall earlier that day. There was also the main elevator, which was up ahead, only a little further. A little green light above the doors indicated that the lift was on her floor.

She glanced from the stairwell to the elevator.
