Making a scene

I yanked the door open, and ducked into the room. Instantly, everyone, including the middle-aged professor, turned to look at me. After a quick scan of the room's tiered rows, I scampered up the shallow steps to the first open seat located near the middle of the third row. The seat directly ahead of this was technically open as well, but it had been removed for repairs.

Sensing that everyone was watching my every movement, I hurriedly slid over the chair and plopped my butt down. I felt a sudden tug as my skirt pulled backward and upward. Immediately, giggles broke out behind me, and I felt the coldness of the seat against my entire buttocks and lower back. Turning and reaching back, I quickly detected that the hem had caught the back of the chair. After carefully freeing it, I started wiggling in an attempt to pull the backside down under me as far as possible. Only then did I look down and notice that the front side had risen up to expose my lady bits and much of my pubic hair. I promptly pulled the front side down as well. What else could go wrong?

My cheeks burned as I blushed, and I sheepishly looked around to see the reactions of my classmates. I saw stunned looks on the two guys to my left, one of the girls to my right, and two of the boys sitting ahead of me, confirming that they'd gotten an eyeful. Meanwhile, the professor was irate. "That's enough interruptions! If you're done making a scene young lady, it's time we got started on today's lesson. Get out your textbooks and turn to chapter three."

The class seemed to drag on at a snails pace. Some of the guys nearby seemed to be checking me out, and behind I began to hear whispers and snickers. Evidently, there was some kind of note being passed around, and I was pretty sure I could guess what it was about. As the whispers grew in number and volume, the professor raised his voice to try to silence them. Eventually, one of the boys toward the back muttered "Seriously? No panties?" and then broke into an uncontrollable laugh. In short order, a number of other students joined in the laughter.

By this point, the professor was fuming. "Alright class, that is enough! I've been tolerable of your chatter during other lectures, but I see that I have **** but to split some of you up. Beginning tomorrow, there will be assigned seating in this classroom." This was met with loud groans from several of the students. Knowing that I was the main cause of this, I just wanted to find a place to curl up and hide right then. "Furthermore, anyone I catch ridiculing another student will be expelled from this class." The class immediately became silent. It took a moment to sink in, but did this mean that he was actually trying to support me?
