Lunch with the girls.

After everyone has a bowl of soup and a plate full of food, you begin to eat.

Anna seems **** to start, watching you through every hesitant movement she makes like she expects you to reprehend her at any second.

Eve makes a stark contrast to her sister, taking one spoon full of her soup before rolling her eyes with a smile, "This is sooooo good!" She blurts, then starts shoveling her food into her mouth as fast as she can eat it.

Eating your own food, you savor a few bites, "You're right, this is really good."

Eve starts to say something around a mouth full of food, but a harsh look from Anna stops her. Swallowing, the younger sister tries again, "Anna made most of it, I just helped a little," She grins.

"In that case, thank you both for the meal."

Anna seems a little taken back by my words, but Eve just grins bigger.

"You're welcome," Anna finally says.

The rest of the meal is quiet, punctuated by the sounds of our eating. Eve asks if she can have seconds about half way through the meal, Anna answers "No," at the same time that you say "Sure." Eve seems conflicted for a moment, but her stomach wins the battle as she starts to dish up more soup into her bowl.

A little while later, Eve has finished her second helping and you're just finishing up your own food. Anna on the other hand is still slowly working her way through her meal.

"Thank you for allowing to eat some of your delicious food John," Eve says when she stands. A second later, Anna echoes the sentiment, "Yes, thank you," She still seems uncertain about the situation.

When Eve begins to gather dishes, her sister quickly eats the last few bites of her own meal and joins her.

You can see that between the three of you, you almost ate everything that was presented for the meal.

Leaving the girls to their work, you leave the table.
