I sit down, taking a deep breath as I carefully unfold the letter addressed Dearest Sister. Brother Thurzo's letter is a fire and brimstone rant, a seemingly delusional tirade against demons lurking in the shadows, corrupting the pure. His words paint a chilling picture. Anyone else would think him mad.

Dearest Sister,

I write to thee this most urgent of missives, my heart filled with grave concern for thine safety and well-being. Perchance, thou art blissfully unaware of the sinister machinations that lurk just beyond the veil of this mortal coil, but I, thy loving brother, Thurzo, am here to enlighten thee. The world is not what it seems, and dark powers conspire to plunge us into eternal chaos.

Behold, the foul creature known as the Strigoi, a master of deception and manipulation, seeks to ensnare the innocent and bend them to its foul will. This creature of the night preys upon the weak and unsuspecting, luring them into its shadowy clutches. Oh, sister, heed my warning, for the Strigoi is a shape-shifting abomination, able to assume the form of a loved one or an enchanting stranger.

It prowls the streets in the dead of night, seeking to drain thy lifeblood and cast thee into the darkness.Knowest thou the whispers of the Evil One, the Tempter in the Garden of Eden? Behold, the same cunning deceiver seeks to worm its way into thy heart, planting the seeds of doubt and discord. Thou art a child of the Almighty, and heed this counsel: resist the wiles of the Enemy. Arise, my Sister, and prepare thyself for the impending battle.

Fortify thy soul with the power of the Holy Word, and arm thyself with the blessed symbols of our faith. For thy adversary prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. But thou, being watchful, resist him steadfast in the faith, knowing that such resistance is a pleasing thing in the sight of our Heavenly Father. As a beacon of light in the face of the darkness, let thy deeds be a testimony to the One True God.

The Strigoi may take many forms, but its wickedness cannot be disguised for long. Be alert, and let not its cunning deceive thee. If, by chance, thou art confronted by this abomination, do not hesitate to use the sacred weapons and artifacts of our people. The Cross, blessed by the hand of the priest, is an impenetrable shield against the minions of the Unholy. Wield the Sword of Light, forged in the fires of faith, to smite the foul creature and banish it back to the realm of shadows.

Fear not, my Sister, for we are but a part of the divine tapestry, and the Almighty shall guide our steps towards the triumph of Good over Evil. May His divine protection shield thee from the insidious clutches of the Strigoi, and may the light of the Eternal Flame fill thine heart with strength and courage in the days to come.

Thine ever faithful, Brother Thurzo

A note is scrawled at the bottom in different handwriting, a little nonsense poem.

Three, Five Seven, Nine and Eleven, all good girls go to heaven.

As I finish the letter, a sense of foreboding envelops me. It's clear that Brother Thurzo is seeking something truly monstrous, and its influence must not be allowed to fester. This thing must have something to do with the deaths of the girls.
