Liam utilizes his Class Unity strategy.

"Three... two... one... Run, knights!" Ralli shouted, beginning a sprint. Surely, at some point in the past, panicked soldiers would be scattering in fear from a similar declaration from a motivated deathspeaker. Here, however, it was the deathspeaker running from the humans.

The instructor kept her face forward, encountering no incident. She had half expected Liam to set someone up in her path as a sacrificial pawn to slow her down, but the way was clear even up to the lap line. With her forged body, honed even further by daily training, Ralli could effortlessly run laps around the course, even with her light armor. Sure enough, as she expected, she soon sensed Harley ahead, about to be lapped. Soon, she was certain she would catch up to the others.

"Aaaah! Craaap!" Harley shouted as the sergeant zipped past her.

... Something wasn't right. Other than Harvey, Ralli didn't think there was anyone particularly fast in the class. She should be sensing someone else coming up ahead. Instead, there was no one... Then the lap line again... Then, Harley again.

"Shooot!!" the young woman shouted with tears in the corners of her eyes. "Dammit! I... shoulda taken the offer...!"

"Offer?" Ralli growled from her helmet, slowing enough to keep pace just ahead of Harley. "What offer?"

"Ms. Ralli... you haven't noticed...? You'd better hurry up... or they're gonna..." Harley trailed off, glancing behind the two of them.

"... That was careless. Even my senses can be limited by tunnel vision. Time off of the battlefield training with rookies has made me weak," Ralli admitted, extending her senses behind her. There...

Just a few feet behind her...

Was everyone!

"What the fuck?!" Ralli roared, pumping her legs harder as a hooked spear jabbed for her. "What? What's happening? I don't understand. I don't understand. I need to sense it-"

The sergeant nearly doubled in speed as she tried to extend her senses fully behind her, nearly crashing into the wall of the arena and correcting herself just in time. It was disorienting, but she needed to figure out what was going on back there.

Harvey was pulling an equipment cart that was used to transport weapons, armor, and training items to and from the arena. It had been emptied out, and in the cart rode every other student besides Harley, with a grinning Liam propping himself up to peek over the crowd from the middle. Harvey was pumping his legs like a madman, gritting his teeth at the effort of keeping up with her while carrying the weight of those behind him. Two of the students were holding hooked lances dangerously, evidently hoping to try and interfere with her if they could get in range.

"I now understand. However, this is unreal. I understand. But I don't understand."

"When we catch you, all of us get a request, right?!" Liam asked, his grin now looking more like a sneer. "I'm looking forward to it, Teach!! Faster, Harvey!"

"You gotta be kidding, bastard!!" Harvey yelled back at him, trying to find one more gear to shift into now that his instructor was putting in effort.
