Leaving for Paul’s Parents

You put the luggage Paul had bought for you in the trunk. Closing the trunk was harder than you’d anticipated, you’re was still getting used to your new body.

Your upper body strength, while never significant, felt particularly lacking right now.

“Please, Let me help you” Paul reaches up and closes the trunk. Paul pretends not to notice you look at him.

You let him close it, “ I had it , thanks though “ You half smile at him.

You get in the passenger seat, you click the seatbelt home, you’re suddenly hyper aware of the shoulder belt feed, you realize there’s no comfortable place for it so you let it rest between your tits.

You only hope Paul isn’t too obvious when he notices.

He gets in and he isn’t terribly conspicuous, he knows it’s still me right? I’m still Aaron, well Erin if I’m being accurate. Oldest college friend, thick and thin. I’m doing him the favor and he’s being so strange. You flatten your skirt and smile at him.

“How long was it to your parents?” You ask.

He starts the car. “ uh, Just about 3 hours. It’s an easy drive.” He replies, clearly thankful to have anything to talk about. “Everyone is so excited to meet you.” He assures you.

You smile at him, he smiles back , despite the strangeness of the situation, it’s not terribly weird between the two of you.

You get out of the city quick, barely enough time for it to get awkward. You mostly chit chat about movies, Paul keeps thanking you but you’re quick to point out he owes you.

But the time passes, before you know you’re half way there.

Paul pulls into a gas station to stretch and fill up the car. You get out and take a long stretch . You can feel Paul’s eyes on you.

“Want a coffee?” You say, trying to make it less strange.

He snaps out of it, he knows he’s caught. He smiles, “Please”

“Sure, light and sweet, I know your order” you respond.

You turn around and walk towards to convenience store.
