I look up, Shine him my best smile, and confidently speak up, "If you could follow me, I can show you in." He sits himself down in the chair and soon is looking intently at me then. I nod and turn to leave when I see the nurse walk in. “Oh, don’t be so fast to leave. I may well have use of use for his check-up.”

I maintain my smile, even though a bit confused. I thought I was supposed to only lead him, but now she’s directing me to stay. I could try to leave, though then again the idea of spending more time with him is rather a pleasant one.
