Chapter 16 by Funtimes Funtimes

Keep it a secret or not?

Keep it a secret

"We will do no such thing. If it is to become public knowledge that my mother has a duty to the King's cock, I want it to be her mouth that states it first."

Sir Dietrich and Lady Lisandra both look disappointed and concerned with your choice, but they nod their heads and left silently.

Within the month, The bells of celebration ring across the nations as the news of the 'Former Queen giving up her title to pursue true love' spread like wildfire. While this development is expected, you're surprised at how both the nobles and common people are together in saying that it is a good thing and express their support for her. However, the festive mood quickly turned into awkward when rumors begin to spread that the King has **** himself upon her and made her into his concubine while siring a bastard child in her womb.

The rumors split the commoners into two opposing groups. The first group supports the opinion that the King was being tyrannical in forcing her to be his concubine even though he had no right to do so. If the King could do such a cruel thing to the Queen who was his mother, could he be expected to be a just and fair king to the rest of the subject? The second group believes you have the divine right to rule and thus decide accordingly, as your coronation was blessed by the church. Besides, whatever you did to her is a matter best left to the royalty.

You don't really care about their opinions because you know that at the end of the day, they would be more concerned with more important things, such as enough food to eat and ample security that would ensure their survivability, not the fate of a disgraced queen.

The nobles, however, is a different matter altogether because they could affect your reign. However, you are left guessing about their position on the matter since they kept quiet.

Each week the rumors there would be a new rumor about how devious of a man you were and what you were doing to her. About how you would beat tie up to something and fuck her before making her crawl around the Arch Duke castle completely naked so that everyone could see her pussy filled with your cum. All of these are lies, and anyone with half a brain should be able to tell. It is a three-day travel to the Arch Duke domain, meaning that if you go there to fuck her every week, you would never be at your castle as you would be traveling six days a week, three to get there and three to get back, ; you would have less than a day to have sex with her. It makes more sense to stay at the hotel and send out for a lady to serve you instead. Besides, you are a King. A ruling king that has to meet commoners and nobles almost everyday except Sunday where you go to the church. There is no time for you to travel, but that doesn't stop the the rumors from spreading and becoming worse with the passing week.

After two months with no word of a date for the wedding, everyone assume Arch Duke would wait an entire year since you last saw her; to give Lady Beatrix time to give birth and then get her body back into shape. So everyone was utterly flabbergasted when he announced the wedding date to be eight months since your fun with her. This means that she will walk down the aisle at the last possible moment before she would be at risk of giving birth while doing so, and also when she would be the most visibly pregnant.

However, their representatives assure everyone that the date is chosen because they 'do not want to postpone their love one day later.' Honestly, no matter how many times the Arch Dukes representatives repeated that line, no one believed it. What would be the harm of waiting two months? At least she wouldn't be pregnant then.

All the same, you still found yourself on the three-day track to Lothelsabourg (Arch-Duke Franz Jacques's domain and the future site of your mother's wedding) with your most loyal of Nobles, Sir Dietrich.

By the second day, boredom overtook you enough to ask about work. "So, my Good Sir Dietrich, My ears are not so far removed from the daily life of my commoners to not have heard the tales of fights regularly breaking out."

As carefully as possible, Sir Dietrich says, "Yes it appears that a certain percentage of the commoners believe you have overstepped your royal authority by making the former Queen your concubine, and they fight with the ones that support you."

Your curiosity peaks, so you continue asking, "And what do the nobles think?"

Sir Dietrich groans in discomfort. "I can say that there is a tiny part of the nobles that believe you're overstepping your bound. However, none would openly state that. A larger percentage believes it was within your right to do so; however, I would say most don't really care. In fact, there's a small group that purposely incites the commoners to fight regarding this matter and bet on the result." He pauses for a moment as he chooses his next words carefully."Such a filthy behavior aside, Sire, I would advise you not to worry about our nobles. Instead, you should be more concerned with the Arch Duke."

Your curiosity grows to complete intrigue, causing you to ask, "And why should I be concerned about my future stepfather?"

Sir Dietrich calmly states, "My King, may I speak freely about a fellow noble?"

"Of course."

Sir Dietrich, "Then it is far beyond my understanding why he wished to have your mother walk down the aisle in her current state. I also have it on good authority that he is behind those false rumors about your sexual activities with the former Queen. From where I sit, the Arch Duke either likes to shame himself publicly or has ill intentions and is attempting to turn public opinion against his future king."

Make peace with the Arch Duke?
