Leave the Arch Duke alone.

You look at Sir Dietrich and sternly say, "Well, if it comes to light that my future stepfather wishes to work in the shadows to undermine his King, then no sooner will he find his head at the end of a spike."

You can actually see a hint of Sir Dietrich smiling before he says, "And that he should."

Much to Sir Dietrich's expectation, the Arch Duke does not come out and greet you on your arrival. Choosing to send out a lowly chamber servant to greet you and take you to your room. To make matters worse, the Arch Duke puts you up in the farthest room from his that you could be with, still being in his castle on the night before the wedding.

You were avoided on the day of the wedding; even your seat in the event was located away from everyone else. They gave you a balcony seat because you are the King, but for some reason, you know that is a lie. At least it gave you a good view overview of the area by which the wedding would occur.

Promptly at noon, a herald walks out and proclaimed, "Before the bride procession, the Groom would like the thank his King for the Dress that the bride is wearing today."

The announcement prompts Sir Dietrich to quickly whisper, "We did not send a dress, did we?"

You shake your head no as the piano begins to play, 'here comes the bride.'

There is an audible gasp in the room as Lady Beatrix walks out in a long-sleeve lace semi-sear sweetheart open maternity gown that leaves her round pregnant belly exposed and a matching lace thong. The breast area was the only part of the gown that wasn't sear.
