Chapter 6 by boobboob boobboob

What could an ordinary day look like?

Just an ordinary day...

With every minute you spend gaming, your thoughts drift further and further away from that unpleasant feeling somewhere in your stomach. You were probably just imagining things again, oh the cruel burden of creativity...

Ratatata!

With agile, skilled movements you repeatedly jerk the mouse around and direct your character towards another kill, while the "pacified" bodies continue piling up in the background. Heck yea! You're good at this! This is something you enjoy! This is... crap, a mistake! Upon gazing at the bottom-right of your computer monitor, you realize you're WAY late for school! Jesus! How can you be so forgetful today?! "Gah!" While uttering a string of profanity under your breath, you quickly strip back out of your yoga pants and begin putting on your school uniform. Dark stockings, a checkered skirt, a white business shirt and a dark blazer -- and in theory also a red tie, but you simply stuff that one into your pockets while stumbling out of your room. In one fluid motion, you continue stumbling on while putting on your shoes, passing the fridge on your way to grab a sandwich for later, and grabbing your backpack near the exit before locking the door behind yourself.

When you finally reach the school grounds, you can already hear the loud school bells ringing and echoing across the campus while the awfully bright sun still blinded you. Good thing you know your way around, you could probably draw a map of this place by memory... By the time you reach the classroom, you're way out of breath and open the door only to be stared at by the entire class -- including your teacher, who silently gestured for you to sit down quietly. An instruction you were all too happy to follow, the last time you were late you ended up having to apologize in front of the class! Something like that was like a **** sentence for someone with your social anxiety. People are scary, yo...

It's when you finally get to sit down that you noticeable feel that you had forgotten to put on some fresh panties! The cold surface of the wooden chair nudges against your bare womanhood, separated only by the thin fabric of your skirt. Gahh... ah well, too late to change that. While you rummage through your bag to pull out the different utensils you'll need, the teacher went through the attendance list. "Amberly... Dario... Eliza... Erik... Janina..." You also think about getting your laptop out, but it's probably not needed. "Mike... Ryan... Sarah..." Then again, if you get out your laptop, you might be able to sneak in a few more minutes of gaming. "Sarah... Sarah?" Would be pretty awesome, you might even be able to -- "ouch!" you wince upon feeling someone poking your sides, and you glance over to see a young blonde girl looking at you like you're a madman?

In a hushed whisper she points towards the front of the class while saying... saying what? "Huh?" -- "I said that the teacher is calling your name!! Listen!" You look over to the middle-aged guy near the teacher's desk, who began looking through the ranks. "Where's Sarah?" he repeated once more.

"Sarah?" ...ohhh, of course! "I'm Sarah!" you called out, and he finally scratched another name off his list and proceeded.

"Did you forget your coffee today or something?" the blonde whispered on while smirking at you. "I'm supposed to be the ditsy one," she jokes while you look back at her and begin remembering... right! Yeah! Janina! One of your childhood friends. Probably also the only girl you know of who had an even more religious upbringing than you, but that's what helped bringing the two of you together. You vaguely recall meeting her when both of you were still children, simply because the only remaining spot during the Sunday prayers at church was on the bench right next to you. By sheer luck, the two of you ended up going to the same school, and even the same class! How could you forget something like that? Maybe all that gaming really wasn't all that good for you after all?

You decide to push your laptop back into its bag and attempt concentrating on classes a little more. Janina - or Janny for short, was a great friend once again and helped you with a few notes and pointers to get you back on track. Before you know it, the bell rang again and you sigh in relief. "Hey," you feel another poke against your tender side. Wanna have lunch together?" Janny asks while gathering the last few pens and papers from her desk and ordering them into her backpack.

"Sure, let's go!"

The two of you chat about the most recent Spider-Man movie while walking down the hallways. Especially that scene with Peter Parker and -- thud you bounce backwards and fall to the ground, dropping your backpack and a few books in the process. "Ouch!" Today seriously isn't your lucky day, is it? You angrily glare back up at whoever dared to run into you! "Watch where you're --" You focus your eyes, only to see Ryan standing there! One of your classmates! Coincidentally also the same person that both you and Janny had a crush on! "I uh..." you immediately begin stuttering...

"Don't sweat it, it was my fault. You all right?" He leaned down to give you a hand, and helped you picking up the books you scattered. He's a nice guy! It also helps that he was pretty athletic and in good shape. Of course, your raging teenage hormones made it even easier to be attracted to someone like that... you quickly shake your head to get those icky thoughts out of your head! "Thanks!"

"Hey, I don't have a good way to make it up to you right now, but how about you just join me and the guys tonight? My parents aren't at home so we're throwing a small party. Your friend is invited too, of course," he added with a glance towards Janny. He then wrote something down on a small piece of paper and handed it to you. "Here's the address, just come by if you're into it. No pressure." Just like that, he swung his backpack over his broad shoulder and walked on.

"Eeeeep!" Both you and your best friend giggle like a pair of school girls -- literally -- and hardly contain your excitement! It's then that you remember that a few girls in your class, including you, had plans to visit the beach for the weekend! You planned to leave tonight, as a group. Even the hotel room was already booked and paid for... but going to the beach? As ginger? Your pale skin would burn to ashes if you don't coat yourself in multiple layers of sun lotion. On the other hand, going to an actual party when you're such an introvert... was a scary thought too. So you gotta choose between getting a sunburn or getting social anxiety? Well, at least you won't have to worry about a boring evening anymore...

What's next?
