Just In Time

As she stood holding the door open, Rachel felt as though time itself had slowed down. Her heart raced as she yelled, “Ellie, quickly over here they’re right behind you.” Ellie was nothing more than a fiery red & blue blur as she sped past her saviour and into the building. Once Ellie was inside, Rachel let go of the door and watched as both Bethan and Sarah came to a sudden halt.

Rachel barely recognised the girl on the other side of the glass, the compassionate spark that usually lit up Sarah’s eyes was long gone. A cold chill ran down Rachels's spine as she noted the predatory look in her sister’s eyes that she swore were flecked with red.

Ellie stood next to Rachel for support, casually fiddling with the blue scarf that was wrapped around her neck. Ellie’s frightened eyes looked out at the creatures her former best friends had become. Bethan and Sarah stood in silence with knowing grins on their pale lips.

For a moment all was still then Rachel noticed Sarah’s lips curl into a coy smile as she parted them to unsheathe a set of vicious fangs.

Bethan lightly touched the bloody marks on her neck as she followed Sarah’s lead and revealed her newly fang-tipped lips. Rachel shuddered as Sarah ran her tongue across her bloodied lips before blowing her sister a kiss. Bethan giggled as she pulled her maker in for a sensual kiss. Ellie felt herself becoming increasingly aroused by the feral display before her.

Stood in silence both girls knew that Bethan and Sarah couldn’t get in without being invited. Rachel knew neither of them would allow the vampiric vixens in or they would ultimately meet the same fate. Suddenly Sarah eased away from her friend's lips snarling wantonly before her gaze drifted between the Buzzer on her right and Ellie within.

Rachel knew that her sister had planned something and was worried about what would happen next…
