Chapter 5 by LoreMaster LoreMaster

What's Next?

Julius Caesar, On the ides of March.

Rome was home to some of the most ambitious and cunning individuals of history. But there was one man who spun the wheels in motion from republic to empire, Gaius Julius Caesar. Caesar was a man born from an elite family. He rose through the ranks of the senate and the military becoming one of Rome’s top generals and most cunning politicians. He was head of a powerful alliance with the richest man of Rome Crassus and its great general Pompey. However both men are dead and Caesar was left as the trues master of the republic as dictator for life.

But this would not last that long. For Caesar was stabbed to **** by conspiring senators who saw Caesar as a threat to them. This took place on what is known as the ides of March.

But you have chosen to rewrite this history. Killing Caesar started a violent chain reaction of civil War. But what if he had lived? What if he went on to dominate Rome for many more years. That was a question you were going to answer.

How shall you begin?
