Joe makes you an offer

You arrive back at Joe's office with the files in hand. He looks up from his desk and smiles when he sees you.

"I see you finished the paperwork," he says taking the file.

"Yes, sir," you say instinctively. "Is there anything else you need?"

You lean down just enough to show you assets to your boss.

"I do have one thing," Joe says, "Could you close the door?"

You close the door and take a seat being careful to cross your legs in the precise way to not expose yourself...yet.

"As you know this is a cutthroat business we are in," Joe says standing up, "And you seemed very interested in moving up the corporate ladder..."

He walks behind your chair and whispers in your ear, "The only way to get up is to go down."
