Jessie is cautious

It is too dark for Jessie to see anything other than your form on the bed but it is enough for him to see something is seriously wrong. He takes a step back from the door frightening you as you suspect he is going to run and leave you but it could not have been further from the truth.

He takes out his phone and with a few quick taps puts it into flashlight mode and runs through the door. He reaches the bed in one long stride and whirls about, flashlight up looking for anything that could be a miss.

Jared pounces.

Jared still has the element of surprise but Jessie had mitigated it enough with his quick entry and flashlight to dodge his first attack. Jessie may have dodged the first attack, Jared had tried stuffing the wet rag over his face, but the follow up blow caught him right in the jaw sending Jessie sideways. His movement stopped by the wall of shelves, a few items teeter and some fall. Jessie throws a counter kick which misses horribly but keeps Jared from rushing in. With the first attack thwarted Jared and Jessie face off assessing each other.

Jessie had never been in a fight before and had no idea what he was doing but did learn one thing about fighting, keep your guard up. He held his fists up near his face ready to block or punch, even if he did not know how, he was at least ready.

Jared kept his distance and held a wet rag in his hand and made a fist with the other. The surprise attack he had used on you earlier had failed on Jessie. He would have to fight to get that rag over his mouth.

Jared charges in hoping to surprise Jessie and throws a punch. Jessie awkwardly blocks. Jared then follows up with the rag and jams it into Jessie's exposed face. He takes a deep breath before he recovers and delivers a blow to Jared's temple sending him sprawling and throwing the mask off.

Jessie tries to shake his dizziness and Jared staggers, dazed. Jessie looks at the rag in Jared's hand, something to be avoid. Jared goes for another strike but Jessie is ready this time and grabs him, throwing him against the wall knocking countless items off the shelves. They struggle in the grapple and hit the floor. The rag goes toward Jessie's face again but as Jessie sees it, he changes focus to protecting himself from it.

They fight over the rag rolling on the floor but Jared gets trapped up against the bed unable to roll any further. It is all over for him at that point as Jessie throws his weight into press the rag over Jared's face until the eyes glaze over and the struggling stops.
