Jessica declines to hunt

"Thank you, Vanessa, but I think tonight my sister and I will settle in to the house. Please instruct the thralls bring us a few captives to eat, discreetly." Elizabeth says sternly. If I take her to a brothel, God knows what she'll do Jessica thinks.

Jenna crosses her arms, her eyes shooting daggers at her sister.

"Mistress, I must insist. We only brought a skeleton crew. We need more humans not only to keep you are your sister feed, but also to run this household. Elizabeth insisted that we begin turning suitable candidates this...." Vanessa protests, but is cut off by Jessica.

"Do as I say, cow!" Jessica thunders at Vanessa.

"Apologies. As you wish Mistress" Vanessa says.

"You never let me have any fun!" Jenna whines, wiping a tear from her eye and running off into the mansion.

Great, Jessica sighs.

Jessica decides to let Jenna cool off for a moment. After a few moments, she decides to go find her sister and explain. Jessica wanders through the house, admiring her new home. Finally, she finds Jenna in the kitchen. Jessica had not considered that Jenna, denied an opportunity to hunt, might lash out.

One of the thralls is kneeling on the kitchen floor. In front of her is a dropped salad bowl, it's leafy contents strewn everywhere. The girls blouse is ripped open and blood runs between her breasts.

Jenna kneels behind the girl, one hand around her throat and the other grasping her arm. Jenna's fangs are buried in the girl's neck, as she feeds messily. Jenna's eyes are closed as she sucks at the wound. Jessica watches as Jenna drains the girl. She tries to suppress it, but the display, the scent of blood in the air, is making her aroused.

"Are you finished with this childish tantrum, Jenna?" Jessica barks, and Jenna's eyes fly open. She pushes the expired thrall to the side and smiles at Jessica.

Vanessa is not going to like this, Jessica thinks.

"I'm sick of you pretending we are something that we're not, Jessica. You think you are sooo much better than me. You always have. Perfect Jessica. Your brooding is getting old real fast, sister. We are vampires now. I am going to act like it." Jenna says defiantly.

Jessica is at a loss for words. She can no longer deny that Jenna has become a monster. She also can't forget that she made Jenna into that monster.

Jenna gets off her knees, blood covering her mouth and chin. "I'm going out. You are welcome to join me. You should try living a little, Jessica" Jenna says coldly as she walks past Jessica.
