Jessica confronts Jenna

Jessica grabs by the arm and slaps her hard across the face.

"You are out of control!" Jessica yells.

Jenna rubs her cheek. "Out of control or out of your control?" Jenna spits back. "I'm just making the best of what you made me, Jessica."

The words sting Jessica deeply, the hurt evident on her face. I never should have turned her. But what else could I have done? Jessica thinks.

"Jenna, please. You've already fed tonight" Jessica says, gesturing at the girl below. "Let's just go upstairs and talk about this." Jessica says, without much of a plan.

"I'm done talking, Jessica. I want to hunt" Jenna replies. Jenna starts to exit the kitchen, but Jessica pounces, knocking her to the floor. The vampiresses struggle. Jessica is bigger and stronger, but Jenna is less willing to hold back.

"You aren't... leaving" Jenna says, winded, in the scuffle.

Jenna grins sinisterly. " You aren't cut out to lead this brood. You are too weak. I am going to drain this city with or without you, Jessica. "
