Jackson Saves The Day

Ava tugged at the robe with all her might, trying to pry it free of the doorway. Despite all her best efforts, the garment refused to budge even an inch, and each pull only seemed to make the robe untie further and further, with the upper portion drooping down her shoulders, and a large gap in cover that ran all the way up past the side of her waist. One pull was almost the final blow, as Ava almost tumbled out of the only item standing between her innocently locked out and stuck, and borderline public nudity.

Ava's face flushed red, and she looked around. Sofia's apartment was on the other side of the building, but on the same floor as her own. She could try (Jackson, who's apartment happened to be located just a couple of doors away) but she knew that she'd rather avoid exposing herself in front of a boy she'd just met. So both options possessed advantages, but each also possessed their own disadvantages. Just as Ava was mulling over whether the shorter streak would be worth adding yet another person in the complex to the list of people that had seen her body, Ava heard the sound of the elevator door opening from further down the hall. Upon inspecting and looking to the right, Jackson, the same brown-haired man who had come within a few feet of seeing her pantsless, rounded the corner and widened his eyes upon seeing the entrapped, underdressed girl before him. Based solely on the fact that the robe had fallen down almost to her elbows, and her robe was undone enough that he could see her bare waistline, it wasn't hard to figure out that aside from the robe Ava wasn't wearing anything at all.

After a short, pregnant pause, Jackson raised an eyebrow, as if in disbelief. "Ava? What are you... What's going on?"

Ava blushed, and quickly readjusted her position to regain some level of modesty. She coughed, pretending to clear her throat. "I err... Well... I locked myself out. And my uhh..." Ava explained, blushing as she gestured to the spot her robe was stuck in the door. "My robe's stuck."

Jackson nodded, before motioning downstairs. "Oh. If you lock yourself out, there's an attendant on duty downstairs with a key to everybody's apartment. Sure they would be glad to help you out."

Ava raised an eyebrow, and motioned to the door again. "Well, that sounds great. Could you give me a hand, and grab the attendant for me? I can't exactly go down there myself..."

Jackson's usual happy, unassuming demeanor faded for a moment. "Oh... Well... They won't leave their post. Since they need to watch the doors and all. So it would have to be you specifically. But..." Jackson stated, looking back at Ava and laughing awkwardly. "...I guess that's out of the question."

Ava blushed slightly, but then an idea flashed into her head. She considered putting on an act to convince Jackson to give her some clothes, or help her back into the apartment.

Ava put on her best pleading eyes, and face, before averting her gaze and looking at the floor. "Well, I'm too embarrassed to walk down to the lobby naked... Could you maybe help me out?"

Jackson immediately nodded his head in compliance. "Yeah! Absolutely! I have a couple of ideas. Follow me." Jackson stated, already walking towards his apartment door. Ava widened her eyes, and called out to him.

"Wait! I can't ditch the robe! That would leave me with nothing to wear. And you probably just want to get an eyeful, don't you?" Ava accused, narrowing her eyebrows.

"Well.... I mean... Yes- WAIT no! Or I mean..." Jackson fumbled, much to Ava's own amusement. He straightened himself, looking forward with his eyes closed. He then turned around, facing away from Ava. "I can't leave you out here. I don't have any clue where my old toolbox is. Probably buried in my hall closet way in the back. It could take me a while to find it. So I promise I won't look, just come inside."

Ava scoffed. "Yeah right. Every guy says that they won't look. But you always do. You can't help it."

"Well, I'll make you a deal. I won't look, and if you catch me looking, I'll have to do something for you."

Ava's ears perked up. "Anything? What's on the table here?"

Jackson seemed to think for a moment, before speaking again. "So long as its nothing that takes longer than a day, can get me arrested, or is expensive, I'll own up. I'm a man of my word. But I won't look, so don't get your hopes up."

Ava pondered for a moment. While it was true that she had no faith in Jackson's promise not to look, his offer was enticing. Even if he looked, the trade-off was in her favor all things considered. In exchange for a sneaky glance at her naked body, Ava would get whatever she wanted out of him for a day. The thought of Jackson seeing her naked was deeply embarrassing, but what she could do in return for an entire day would be plenty enough payback. She could think about all the possibilities later, but a few shorthand ideas made her smile. And all she had to do was go inside his apartment, and ditch her robe. However, the thought of abandoning her only article of clothing made her red-faced with embarrassment.
