It turns out Vince is a plagiarist!

Danielle was another aspiring writer who went to film school with Vince, and Danielle had graduated a year earlier than Vince. Danielle had turned in an original screenplay as her final project, which helped her graduate top of the class!

Unfortunately, she had managed to misplace it and it somehow ended up in Vince's possession, who then kept it secret until he graduated, change the bare minimum (character names, the setting, etc.) and sent it to a studio, who picked it up and greenlit it.

Now, about a week after the film released, Danielle had filed a lawsuit against Vince. But Vince had somehow roped Zoey into the lawsuit, claiming that she was complicit!
