It did occur but it is also a trap!

Some days after the Battle of the Grove of Grant, a messenger arrived on the back of an emu-like chicken to Port Williams. The content of the message stated clearly that the leaders of the Jackson Fortress and the rest of the confederation agreed for the prisoners' exchange and also agree to a truce.

And so, the arrangement is made between the Allies and the Confederates when and where the exchange of prisoners will occurred and also to discuss the terms of the truce.

"This is odd. They given up so easily after just one battle..." - You think as it makes little to no sense why they suddenly given up so easily after just one battle.

"... unless... this is a trap?!" - Your thought reached the terrifying conclusion and quickly leave you room to inform Lieutenant Moore, Chief Vargas and the other military leaders about this possibility.

"Chief Vargas! This could be a trap!" You said as soon as you barged into the conference room that located in the building that used to be the residence of the Williams family.

"Oh I know that. But it could also be our only chance to turn it into a trap against them instead." Pablo said as he, his captains, Giselle and Elijah turned to look at you.

"How?" You asked them back, wondering how can they turned the enemy's trap against the enemy instead.

"If they intended to commit a massacre, we simply have to grab one of them, one of the most important ones, and use that person as a hostage." Elijah said

"And if that still does not worked?" You asked them back immediately, knowing that such a world most likely is not operating in accordance of the Geneva Conventions for sure. At least, around these parts of the world.

"... then we can only hoped some of us will make it out alive..." Hector said grimly.

Upon hearing that, you have nothing more to say. You can only accepted whatever the outcome will be like.

And so, the expedition to return the captives to their side begun. You, however, is not part of this expedition. Instead, you stayed behind since you have no interests of being there in case something goes wrong.

When you saw Valeria is walking out along with the other captives, she glared at you for a moment before going along with the others to join the expedition as the prisoners to be delivered back to their community.

"She must still be mad when I used such a trick on her." - You think as you remembered to how you privately interrogating her ultimately led to you ended up fucking her and possibly creating another one of your babies in her womb.

"May this one not growing up a white supremacist or even a racist." - You think hopefully if Valeria did indeed conceive your child in her belly. Unbeknownst to you and her alike, a new life is already being formed in her belly because you cum inside of her back then.

The expedition to return the prisoners to the Coalition by the Allies is led by Hector Rowland, Elijah Moore and one of the commanders from the Orange Kingdom named Jerry Lawrence, the one who led the army along with Lieutenant Moore back at the Battle of the Grove of Grant days ago.

After the expedition left to meet the other party at the arranged location, which is on the eastern side of the ruins of Atlanta at the place that is known as Sherman's Spring, which is most likely named after General William Tecumseh Sherman, and it located not that far from Atlanta's ruins.

With the expedition left for the arranged location, you have nothing else to do anymore but simply hanging out around the town or simply going around the town to look around for things to buy.

After traveling for a whole day, the expedition from Port Williams arrived at the arranged location right on time. There, the Confederates are already waiting for them and they indeed brought with them captives of all races, daughter of Hector Rowland included, as promised.

To show that they mean well, the Coalitionists released their captives first. But as soon as that happened, they sprung their trap! Suddenly, many men and women armed with rifles and pistols raise up from their hiding spots within the tall grasses and begin to open fire on them!

Acting in accordance to the plan in case it is indeed a trap, they take the captives as hostages! However, the shots have already been fired and some of the Allied troops and some of the captives ended up being slain already! As a result, the Allies retreated back to Port Williams with the remaining captives as meat shields to prevent them from following.

The next day, you woke up to find that the remnant of the expedition is returning with the report that the inhabitants of Jackson Fortress did indeed lay a trap and many people died as a result.

When you come out to look at them, you found Hector's daughter and his son, Layla and Barry, are bringing their own father to the nearest field hospital while Miyuki quickly runs in with her mother to check on the other injured peoples. As for Elijah, he has nothing but scratches.

"I knew it! It was a trap!" - You think as you looked at the remaining members of the expedition that left yesterday.

Suddenly, Valeria runs toward you and hug you as tears are streaming down from her eyes.

"Are you... are you okay?" You asked the young Italian-American woman back kindly to comfort her.

"The people I thought I know just betrayed me for the sake of victory! How can I be okay?!" Valeria said as she's hugging you while also crying.
