Vault Tech. The leading industry of underground bunkers. Practically a monopoly in apocalyptic survival. With govt funding there was little any competitors could do to match them.
To the public, they were a company of veritable Noah's with numerous arks to weather the impending apocalypse. The truth however, was a bit darker. Sure, they intended to save most from the end of the world, but under certain conditions few, if any, were aware of when entering their sacred vaults.
Many vaults were made as advertised, but most were a means of experimentation on an unknowing populace. This one in particular was one of them.
Vault 69. Fully equipped to comfortably house as many as 1000 residents. Enough power, food, and other essentials for several decades to come.
The catch? This vault was built to see what might happen if the ratio of men to women in a single vault were extremely one sided. Say.... one man among 999 women.
