Chapter 23 by Chip_Arranger Chip_Arranger

What will YOU do with your day?

I wonder what Heidi is up to

You had gotten Heidi's phone number over the course of the last week. While Heidi was a little bit annoying while drinking, she was actually really fun to be around when she'd sobered up. Since Summer was doing work, Isabella was doing God knows what about her situation, and Amy still wasn't awake, you figured it'd be a good idea to advance your relationship with some of the less major people in your life.

You shot her a text message asking if she was up to go out into town today. It took her a few minutes to respond, but when she did, she responded with "I'd be up for it, I need to grab some ibuprofen at the pharmacy for my hangover, it's killing me".

After exchanging a few more messages, you agree to meet at the recreation center. When she arrives, she looks like a zombie, especially compared to how energetic she was last night.

"Hey Heidi", you greeted.

"Ugh, last night was such a fiasco", she said hoarsely.

"Because of the police?" you ask.

"Yeah. I'm over 21, so I was all good, but there were some people like Megan, Lilly, and Katrina there that were underage. I bet they're not going to fare well in the questioning." she explains as the two of you start walking towards CVS.

"Can they still charge you if you were there around underage drinking?" you ask a bit worriedly.

"I don't think so. I don't think they can charge Isabella either, since her roommate is over 21, and all the **** is technically in her roommate's name", she answered, which relieved a lot of your fears.

"That's good", you say, crossing the street which marked the edge of campus.

The two of you walk in silence for a bit, you because you're not exactly a social butterfly, and Heidi because her head was hurting.

Heidi decided to break the silence with four words, saying "So, you and Amy?"

"What about us?" you asked, a bit more defensively than you wanted to.

"Are you two a thing now?" she prodded further.

Part of you wanted to say that yes, you and Amy were a thing. But saying yes would jeopardize any future chances you had with Heidi. While you knew you wanted to have a future with Amy, you weren't opposed to polyamory, and hopefully one of the locked options in the Affection Multiplier's shop was something to help with that.

"Maybe, I'm not really sure. Just trying to see where it goes with her", you carefully answered, toeing the line between noncommittal and truthfulness.

"Yeah, that's what it seemed like to me", she agreed. "Anyways, do you need anything at CVS or not?"

You hadn't even realized that you had walked all the way to the main drag of town. You responded with, "No, not really. I can hold all of your stuff."

"Great!" she said, as she gave you her bags to carry and walked into the store.

Geez, that girl still managed to be bubbly despite having a splitting headache.

You used this opportunity to check your phone. There was a text from Amy in which she said, "Hey, can we talk about last night? In person? Maybe at lunchtime?"

You hoped that wasn't something bad, but you could always check her scores and see, so you agreed to the lunchtime meeting.

Speaking of checking Scores...

Anderson, Heidi

Affection Score: 47 (+16)

Lust Score: 3 (+3)

A total score increase of 19 for just walking from campus to the pharmacy seemed a little drastic, but you guessed that her general lively demeanor likely influenced that increase by a pretty significant amount.

"Hey, I'm back!" you heard a voice from behind you shout.

You hurriedly closed the app to prevent her from seeing, swiping back to your text messages with Summer, and replied "That was quick."

"Yeah, well not many people are at the CVS this early on a Saturday", she reasoned. "Is there someplace you wanted to go? I'm guessing that accompanying me to the pharmacy wasn't really your main idea when you asked me to go into town with you".

"I needed to go to the mall to grab some clothes. I know you're a bit of a shopaholic, so I thought you might want to tag along with me and buy some useless junk", you explained.

"How dare you accuse my impulse purchases of being useless junk", she said, acting all appalled and offended. "But yes, I do need to buy my weekly dose of random trinkets, so I will accompany you".

You went to your town's relatively little mall, and went into the department store, where you proceeded to buy four nice outfits to wear on your more upscale occasions. Heidi then dragged you into about a half dozen stores where she proceeded to buy three rubber ducks, a few shirts, some of those attachments to put on Crocs, and a few other random things. After all of that, it had reached about 12:00, and you had to start heading back.

"Hey, so I have to be back on campus around 12:30, I'm meeting someone for lunch", you told her.

"Alright, I think I've done enough shopping for today", she said, motioning to all the bags she was carrying. "Why, you got a hot date?"

"Yes", you thought internally, but instead you said, "Nah, just catching up with another friend".

"Alright, well we should probably start heading back", she responded. "It'll take about ten minutes, and then you have to drop your stuff off at your dorm".

So that it was. You two walked back to the campus, you bid goodbye to her, dropped off your clothes at your dorm room, and then waited in front of the dining hall for Amy.

While waiting, you decided to take a peek at Heidi's updated scores, and refresh your memory on Amy's.

Anderson, Heidi

Affection Score: 60 (+13)

Lust Score: 9 (+6)

Pearson, Amy

Affection Score: 150 (MAX!)

Love Score: 105 (+2)

Lust Score: 47 (+6)

Well, those scores for Amy were relieving, but if you knew one thing about females, it was that they always did the opposite of what you expected.

What does Amy want to talk about?
