I think you deserve a lesson

"K-T I've had it with your careless attitude towards your clothes. You damage them, lose them, leave them everywhere, don't wear most of the ones that you have and yet all I hear from you all the time is how much more clothes you want. I think that you won't learn anything unless your actions have consequences. If you are unable to manage your clothes, maybe you should go without them until you can show that you deserve them."

K-T couldn't believe what he was hearing. Sure his room was sometimes a bit messy, but using that as an excuse to tell him to go around naked was a bit much. He could see her sister having trouble to prevent herself from bursting out of laughter. He realized that he had been set up. Stealing all of his ill fitting clothes, badmouthing him in front of their mother, the various incidents from last week that had made him lose or dirty clothes at exactly the correct rate so that all of them would have been worn at least once by Sunday night... His sister had orchestrated him being naked this morning and count on their mother to punish him. But even her had not imagined that she would go that far.

"Mom, you can't make me go to school naked!"

"I'm not making you do it, but you are going to go to school this morning and you have been unable to make sure you'd have something to wear. You're not a kid anymore, you have to assume the consequences of your actions."

"No, I mean you just can't. It's illegal, I'll be arrested if I go to school naked."

"Actually it isn't, this state's Supreme Court has ruled 10 years ago that making it mandatory for people to be clothed in public was actually not constitutional because it **** people to buy something to obey the law and created discrimination against the poor."

"What? How come I never see anyone walking naked around then?"

"Well, because most people both prefer to be clothed and are able to accomplish the simple task of getting dressed in the morning."

"Emily, please. Do you have something you can lend me? Don't let me have to go to school naked!"

"Emily don't answer that. Don't you dare ask something like that. Not after the fuss you did about your kind sister giving you the clothes she didn't need before. And surely with how you've grown recently you wouldn't fit in them anyway. I'll be making you a note for your principal.
Once we see how you behave this week we'll see about giving you your clothes back." She said before leaving the table to go write a note.

"A week? I'm going to die from embarrassment mom. Everyone will see me naked, they will make fun of me, they will take pictures. I won't last a week."

"Of course people will take pictures, today is school picture day," said his sister.

"Here is your note, I don't want to hear anything more about it. And don't even think about borrowing or buying clothes to avoid punishment, I will check with your school and if I find out that you cheated you will wish it lasted a week." She told him. "Now look, your almost got us late again. The bus will be here any minute, go grab your bag before you miss it."

Going to grab his bag he read the note:

hello this is Mary Smith, K-T's mother. K-T has recently shown repeated lack of care or respect for his clothes and is punished. He will attend school without them this week to teach him the importance of taking proper care of one's clothes. Do not let him wear anything under any circumstances and do not exempt him from any school activities because of his lack of clothing. If you find him cheating by wearing clothes this week ask him to remove them and report it to me. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this will no doubt create for you but I think it is important that he learns this lesson before it's too late.

His bag in hand he rushed down and outside, stopping just long enough to put some shoes on, he couldn't miss the bus or it would anger his mom and this ordeal would last for a lot longer.

It was a close call, he reached the bus stop just in time, the bus was there here already the door open. Emily had just got in and K-T ran to get inside just before the bus drove off.
