I ask Ross if he wants to know

I stop my story. I look at Ross, and say, “Are you sure you want to hear this story? This part is the reason I have never told it before.”

Ross doesn’t respond right away. So Joey jumps in, “I want to hear how you fucked Jordan. I thought she was hot. I definitely would have fucked her if she asked me while she was naked in the shower.”

Monica says, “I’m worried how this story is making you look, hunny. You’re dating Meg and then you’re going to bang your best friend’s girl? I don’t think this is a story you should tell.”

Rachel replies, “We don’t know his answer to her proposition yet. Maybe Chandler really isn’t attracted to blondes. Maybe he turned her down.”

“Oh that would be humiliating,” says Phoebe. “I would never recover if a guy rejected me if I was naked in the shower asking to be fucked.”

Ross finally speaks up, “I really don’t care if you did anything with Jordan. She was obsessed with me for that summer, but after I left it was over. I’ve never seen her again.”

His voice sounds like he definitely cares what I did with Jordan. I’ve heard him rant about exes and their new boyfriends before. I knew this story would be a never sensitive subject for him.

Phoebe says, “Hey I got Chandler to tell some sexual stories because I thought it would be fun. It doesn’t sound like this storyline is fun for Ross. Maybe someone else should hop in and take a turn.”

“No. I’m cool. Chandler, tell your story. Did you fuck Jordan or not?” Ross drinks the rest of his glass and pours himself some more bourbon.
