History

You had chosen to study history, despite what people thought you didn’t need to work in a library. Although that is what you wanted to do.

History was a very broad topic at the start of university. Filled with different dates, facts and the basic stuff you learn at school in a bit more detail. But, as you get more into the course, you start branching off into either human or magical history.

The Fae, however, were very secretive about different aspects of their history and learning about it also meant learning their own language. So, almost every human kept to human history.

The easy route.

Some chose the hard route, spent years studying both fae language and history. None ever finished. For one reason or another it became too much for them and they all quit.

You were determined to be the first.

However, that meant you’d need to find a teacher. Someone to teach you the language of the Fae.

It was the main reason you decided to stay in dorms. So you met more people. More so, you picked co-ed dorms. No only we’re they cheaper but there we’re a lot more far around.

All of the female fae needed to find a man to impregnate them, no strings attached.

There was one catch.

Because fae wanted to meet men, co-ed dorms mixed room shares. It was very likely your new room mate was about to be a man. No a fae women. Which also meant you couldn’t pick your roommate.

The door to the room giggles as someone on the other side tries to open it.

It was the moment of truth.
