Hino, Myla, and Liz

The door slams open and Luna, Innu, and I turn to look. I see Hino and Myla rushing in. They're each holding their training weapons and are sweating. Liz is close behind, holding her staff and out of breath, but not sweating like the other two.

"Eric!" Myla says when she sees me. She rushes over to me and notices the scar on my chest. "What happened? Are you hurt?" She asks quickly. I notice Hino and Liz follow close behind. I laugh softly and smile.

"I'm fine, don't worry. I just... Well, I guess I just knocked on ****'s door." I say causing her to worry more. I explain what happened, how Kurdes ripped out my heart, and that I was able to recover. I tell them that since I'm a Mythos and because of my game-like powers, I was able to recreate my heart. I don't tell them I have my old heart in my inventory. I'm still not sure what to do with it yet, so I want to keep it to myself for now. While I have mixed feelings about using my heart to do whatever, if it'll help me then I'll use it. I don't tell them about Prisma, but fortunately, they don't ask how I knew I'd live without a heart as long as I had HP.

"That was way too reckless Eric!" Liz says angrily once I finish.

"I know. You're not the first to tell me. But I won't do it again, promise." I say and she sighs. She hugs me and I pet her head reflexively. "So, what have you three been up to?" I ask after a moment. Hino laughs before answering.

"Noting as interesting as fighting a Dark God. We were just in the middle of training. But we couldn't focus on it. Earlier today though Myla and I cleared a Lizardman Dungeon. It didn't have a Mini Hydra as its boss, but we got to see just how much further we've grown." Hino says causing Myla to nod proudly.

"What about you Liz?" I ask and she smiles.

"I was visiting the Dryads. I got back about an hour ago once I checked my phone and heard what happened to you. I wanted to barge in here and see you but Treena made me swear not to. She held me in her vines and wouldn't let me go until I did." Liz says and I laugh.

"Remind me to thank her the next time I see her." I say and she lightly punches me.

"Who's Treena?" Myla asks us.

"Treena's the leading Dryad in the forest I grew up in." Liz replies. "Speaking of, Treena and Layla want to visit your Guild Eric. I told them I'd create a portal for them soon."

"Okay, maybe tomorrow or the day after." I say and she nods.

"I'll let them know!" She says while pulling out her phone.

"Do Dryads use phones?" Innu asks and Liz nods.

"Yeah, they live in forests but they use phones, fridges, ovens, and so on. They don't use normal electricity though. Theirs are all powered by the forest's magic. They're part of the deal they have with the government." Liz replies right before Asami walks in.

"Master, dinners done! Oh, hey Hino, Myla, Liz. You're free to join us!" Asami says and the girls all nod. Luna and Ramia help me to the table, my legs still numb. We start eating and Asami turns to me.

"Master, do you think you'll be recovered enough to move tomorrow?" Asami asks and I shrug.

"I'm not sure. I feel surprisingly well for someone who got their heart ripped out. But it's still hard to walk on my own." I tell her.

"Y-you will. The p-potion I made with Verona and Gaia's h-help will have you back to n-normal by tomorrow afternoon at the l-latest. You still need to t-take the other doses t-though. We made four d-doses in total. But you have t-to take them separately. Due to the God's b-blood in them, and your i-injured Mana Circuits, they'd p-poison you if you took them all at once." Ramia says.

"When do I take the other doses?" I ask and she looks at a watch on her wrist.

"After e-eating. You need to wait an hour between. But i-it's been an hour since your last one. Then you'll t-take one when you wake up. Then t-the last an hour after that." Ramia replies and I thank her. We finish eating and Hino and Myla leave. They hug me bye before leaving. Luna and Asami help me back to bed while Ramia gets the next potion ready. I drink it and gag on it this time. My sense of taste has returned and it's foul. It tastes like how garbage smells with a very metallic aftertaste. I **** it all down and she hands me a cup of water to wash it down with.

"Thanks Ramia." I say before drinking the water. I lay down and almost immediately fall asleep. That night I have a good dream. I dream of myself standing on the balcony of my Guildhall. The land around it is full of buildings. I can see an arena of sorts and some kind of dormitory. I hear a voice behind me and turn around. I see Asami walking up to me, followed by Luna. The two introduce me to some new Guild members and I give them a speech. I can't see their faces, only a dark black void where their face would be. I don't even hear what my speech is. After I finish it they give me some kind of salute before Innu flies up to the balcony from below. She says something about a Dungeon. Luna jumps on me and I sigh. I tell her to grab her gear and that we're going to explore it. She jumps with joy before running off. I walk into my office as everything goes dark.
