Help Wanted.

"I'd rather just show you because..." The Sunrider stutters out "I believe it's okay but..."

"Let's go." Karisi walks past the table making her way to the door to leave the Kitchen.

"You two stay here, I"m going to make sure it's okay, be right back!" you smile at Lexie and Zoe as you follow Karisi a few steps behind.

The three of you walk through the marble hallways of the castle, the hallways are awfully dark now with the storm going so strong outside. The winds are gusting hard and the rain is basically coming down sideways which is making a very strange sound against the outside walls as it patters like a bunch of fingers tapping on the walls.

It isn't until you get closer and closer to the main entrance of the Castle that more noise starts to overlap the sounds of the storm outside. "What's that..." you question the Sunrider as she gets to the doors leading to the main entrance of the Castle.

"You'll see." she pushes the huge double doors open and Karisi and yourself can't help but step inside and immediately be in awe.

The entrance to the castle is completely filled to the brim with many Sicilian Civilians, Sunriders and Warriors. It seems many of their buildings were getting flooded or even worse, partially destroyed by the wind and rain so they decided to seek shelter here in the castle which they knew was much better built, higher off the ground and also would be much safer than many of their own homes.

"I see..."Queen Karisi mumbles out as she looks around the sea of people. "Seems a good chunk of the Syndicate is here..."

"Even more outside, trying to get in. It appears the storm is even worse then estimated and is causing lots of damages around the Syndicate. The people are scared and looking for some safety here in the castle. I know it may be tough to house most of them, but hopefully we can spread them out in rooms, chairs, heck, even the floor?" The Sunrider asks.

"Of course we can do that." Karisi immediately agrees. "I just have to let it be known." She begins to move towards the middle of the main entrance as you follow right behind you. Together you both slowly push through hundreds of people who are basically shoulder to shoulder as they huddle around the room. Once she reaches the middle of the room she pulls out a chair and goes to take a step up on it, quickly followed by a step up on one of the tables there. With your hand held out, you steady her as she steps up until she's up on the table, above everybody else and ready to announce.

"Civilians, Sunriders and Warriors of the Syndicate." she shouts out and waits for a few seconds as most of the voices begin to quiet down "Civilians, Sunriders and Warriors of the Syndicate!!" she repeats as more and more people begin to turn towards the Queen, shushing each other and trying to listen.

As the voices quieted from the people, the sounds of the storm only got louder and louder.

"The castle is open to all civilians of Sicilian!" Karisi begins "We do not have enough beds for all of you but if we share, if we use chairs, cots, tables or even the carpeted floors we should be able to hold up here for the storm!" her voice is hopeful, assuming the storm shouldn't last more than the night "If needed, please make your way to the kitchen area as there is plenty of food. But please be reasonable as there are many civilians here and I want to make sure there is enough for everybody!"

Her eyes scan the crowds as everybody is silent looking and watching her "More people are funneling in so as they come in, let them know the castle is there's for shelter! I will look out for my people, I will do what I can to make sure you're safe and if you believe staying here in the castle is the safest place, then we shall all stay in the castle!" a handful of civilians cheer which causes the Queen to smile "Now, feel free to find a Warrior of the castle who can guide you to bedrooms, bathes or the kitchen. Spread out, make yourselves at home! We could all be here for awhile."

Most people applaud the Queen as she steps down from the table which you proudly grab a hold of her hand to steady to descent "Nice speech." you smile at her "Nice of you to give up your chambers, your bed could fit half a dozen people."

"Hah, nice try Darien." she gives you a friendly wink "Rest of the castle is fine, my chambers is off limits." she gets to your side as the two of you walk back to the original hallway you came in from.

"Either way, I'm going to go back to Lexie and Zoe, knowing both of them they would love to help out people if needed. I may tag along with them as well to help out civilians and get them situated in the castle since I kind of know my way around." you open up the double wide doors for your Queen and then prop them open to allow other civilians to follow you if needed "What is your game plan?"

"Be a Queen. Go sit on my throne for awhile and order people around if they ask." she teases if your ear with a laugh.

"Typical Karisi." you give her a playful nudge "You should go see your father again too, make sure he's doing fine. I know it's getting late now but go say good night to him."

"I will." her head turns and gives you a smile before turning it back forward and walking.

"I'll catch up with you later, going to grab the girls and help out as needed. See you soon, Karisi. Stay out of trouble." you wink.
