Crowded Halls and Limited Beds

After you went back to the kitchen to speak with Lexie and Zoe they both immediately agreed with the decision to allow many Sicilian civilians into the castle for protection. They also both were extremely glad to help out and show people around the castle and bring them to rooms as needed.

Between bringing another group of four civilians to another bedroom and allowing them to stay there for the night. It was much different though because even though the halls were dark and generally you wouldn't see another soul while walking besides the random guard. Now though, there were countless civilians, warriors and Sunrider's all scattered across different rooms and hallways making the entire castle completely packed to the brim.

To make matters even more eerie you even brought some people down to the dungeon in the castle and let people stay in some of the empty cells if they wished. Whatever places had beds, those beds were used.

Finally after many hours pass you decide you've done enough and know that it has to be getting late in the day. You've been going at this for such a long time and even though you have no clue how late it is, with as pitch black as it is outside you figure it's got to be evening.

You eventually run into Lexie as you're walking back towards the main entrance of the castle to get one final look at all the civilians.

"Hey Darien!" she steps forward while wrapping her arms around your waist "Long day..." she purrs out as she rests her head into your chest.

"Yeah, this castle is packed to the brim, filled up so many rooms, hallways and hell, even parts of the prison!"

"Ridiculous! I hope this storm only lasts for the night, think if it keeps going and the people here need to stay even longer. I don't know how much the food will last or if people will start to get ornery and cause drama."

"We should be able to keep that in control though." you look down at Lexie as she steps back from you "Anyway, I think I've done enough. You see Zoe? How's she handling it?"

Lexie laughs "She loves it. You know the girl, she's got so much energy and can get along with anybody. She's still guiding people through the castle but she said afterwards she might go hang out with some of her Sunrider friends afterwards that she saw were in the castle as well. The potion Karisi gave her definitely gave her a ton of spunk and energy, it was just what the girl needed. I'm guessing we'll catch up with her tomorrow." she informs.

"Fair enough, good on her. She's a great person." you smile at Lexie "Anyway, I'm going to go check in the Throne Room to make sure Karisi is okay and then if you're up for it, let's hit the sack." you begin to turn towards the Throne Room as Lexie follows your stride.

"About that..." she mumbles out.

"Hmmm?" you question curiously.

"I may have lent out our room to a family of five." she smiles "We'll have to find a different room or crash on the floor...sorry."

With a puff of air you roll your eyes at Lexie. It's sweet of her, to give up her own bed even though she's pregnant to another family. It was one of the things you loved her about, always looking out for other people. You throw your arm around your shoulder and hold her tight "No need to be sorry, as long as I'm with you I can sleep anywhere!" you pull her close and continue the walk into the Throne Room.

The two of you meet with Karisi who is walking around her Throne Room speaking with some Royalty members and wishing them good faith. Lexie and yourself give her some space as she continues to make her rounds. After another thirty minutes of just speaking with your fiance, Karisi eventually walks over to you both with a grin "Thanks for all your help you two! I've heard a lot of good things."

Smiles, hugs and handshakes go around the three of you before Karisi begins to talk again "Anyway, I'm tired and it's been a long day between you Darien, my father, this storm and all these activities with the civilians. I'm going to go read some scriptures and then eventually get some rest..." she trails on.

"Sounds good Karisi!" Lexie beams a toothy smile at her "Have a great night, I'm sure Darien and I will pass out soon as well..." she hesitates just briefly as she thinks "As soon as we find a place to sleep." a chuckle escapes her lips.

Karisi gives a questioning glance before eventually letting "You gave up your room?" slip out of her mouth.

"Yup yup!" Lexie replies "To a family of five. A mother, father, two daughters and son. I couldn't let them sleep on the floor, no way."

"That's sweet of you." Karisi gives her a mysterious smirk.

"That's my girl." you reply "Always helping others. I love that about her." you wrap your arm around her shoulder and pull her into your body again "Anyway Karisi, have a great night. We'll catch you in the morning." you give her a nod before turning your body along with Lexie to make your way out of the Throne Room.

After a few steps towards the Exit you hear Karisi clear her throat which causes the two of you to turn around and look back at her.

"Uhh, if you..." she pauses as you see her wet her lips as thinking of the next words to say "If you want to stay with me... I-In my chambers that is, it has plenty of room for all of us." her voice seems a little shy.

It was kind of cute actually as Karisi was a bit nervous as she asked that. You then look at Lexie to your side as she looks back at your eyes with a sensual grin on her face. "Up to you." you give her a wink.

Lexie's eyes majestically scan between Karisi and yourself a few times as she's pondering what to do. Eventually she turns her entire body into yours and pushes herself up on her tie-toes to bring her mouth close to your ear. You hear her tongue part and wet her lips, sounding extremely erotic and causing bits of arousal to begin to flow into your body. She lets out a very low passionate grunt into you before she purrs "I've never slept with a Queen before..."
