He wants you and Mark to live together.

As Pauly details his plan, you're consciously aware of Mark's thick legs right next to yours.

"So, you'd be living together starting as soon as possible," Pauly explains. "It would be as if you're actually your characters."

You blink at this. Your characters in the film were dirt poor, father and son having to share a bed because they live in a studio apartment.

"I'm down," Mark says with a shrug. "I think it could be an interesting way to go about this. How about you, kid?"

You swallow, nodding. "Yeah, I'm cool with it too."

"Great!" Pauly claps his hands. "Now, at this point I think we should just jump right into it. Obviously, this isn't gonna be where you're filming, but I'm not gonna be able to be there and watch when it happens, so just pretend like you're at home, getting ready for bed. Improv it. Go."

Mark unbuttons his shirt so that he's only in a wifebeater, as if preparing to get into pajamas.
