Harris is older for an adventurer thanks to his chosen role/profession. He is in good shape, but his short black hair and well trimmed beard is starting to show the grey's of age. He has light green eyes that can seem almost grey depending on the lighting he's viewed in. He dresses in mostly browns and blacks depending on his current assignment, but wears no armour more than a chain vest for stealth purposes.

Harris does have a guild, but acts mostly as a free agent among guilds instead of with his team. He is mostly employed when another party decides ambushing monsters is the best tactic or a town is expected to be attacked to clear away as many enemies as possible before the real fighting starts. His contracts often include arrow replacement fees if he is expected to shoot a lot.

Early after his awakening Harris was recruited into a guild, who's previous archer had recently been injured. He always did his part, but many of his original party members felt he was too timid in battle as he never even tried learning hand to hand combat. This caused friction with some other members, but one night when he was on watch he managed to kill three orcs that were attempting to sneak into camp before they even came close. Harris knew this was how he was meant to fight from that point on.

Though killing the orcs was by no means an impossible feat, his teammates way of telling the story during tavern crawls gained him a notariety that wouldn't normally come to a D rank and he was scouted by other teams to perform similar feats. Eventually he learned that joining guilds for one mission wasn't the best for his reputation and instead found a guild that was willing to let him contract out his work.

He has a wife and two daughters, all adventurers in their own right. His wife is a retired C rank, Harris makes enough money for both to live comfortably and their daughters are actually both higher rank than him (one is a C rank spellsword and the other is a B ranked mage). They live in Riledo and their daughters are both welcome home whenever they desire to take a break.

With both the ability to see incredibly far and true aim but a low rank, Harris knew early on that he would never cut it as a standard adventurer. He used a connection in his original guild who knew about specialty weapon shops to find someone who could make him a bow with arrows that could fire further than standard, if with less accuracy than a standard bow and arrows would have.
