Handling delinquency

One of the main things that I had to handle was the increased number of absentees, late submission homework and general bad behavior of a series of problem students. It was one of the toughest jobs given to a new teacher like myself. Convincing rebellious teenagers to do anything was like herding wolves with a sharp stick. While some might choose to ignore me out of boredom, some might decide to bite. Nothing dangerous, of course, but all the time and effort I had to put through just to get my students to come to class can get tiring.

Nonetheless, I was determined to oversee their proper education by any means necessary. Who knows? I might even come to like working with problem students.
