Only 6 girls left. I feel that by now my brother should have already gone out and got caught by a girl. I hope waxface got him. And the guys from the Gavin farm were quite eager too. They should have lost their necklaces by now as well. So, when Dunla rings her bell the 13th time, I head out.

As soon as I pass the torchers I look to my left and right. Hoping there are some guys nearby checking out which girl is leaving. But I’ve got no luck. To be fair, there are few hiding places at this spot. But when I get further, where more hiding places are available, I again so nobody. They are not there either, or they are too well hidden. Or maybe they have already been taken.

“Hey guys. Anyone eager to have a go at me?” I call out. But no response.

I guess the leftover guys are already further up. No matter. As long as I get anyone outside of my brother or Gavin’s sons. Then I would happily accept his Samhain child and finally turn my life around. Of course, it would be sweet if I could get an upstanding guy like Merlan. But I would even be fine with his younger brother, or Finola’s twin brother. Kenric would be good enough for me as well. Even the baker. I am willing to birth a child for any of these men. Just as long as they take me out of that farm. It was a mistake to go there after my parents kicked me out. I should have accepted Kenric’s offer back then.

Or perhaps it is better for one of those traveler guys to catch me. If they do, then I will immediately tell them I am ready to join their clan. Even if they don’t get me pregnant tonight. I’ve just had it with this village. I need a way out. Whichever one I can get is good enough.
