Get dressed and go about the daily routine

"Yes, I think I shall wear the blue gown today," said Belinda getting out of bed and standing in front of her gilded, full-size mirror.

"Excellent choice, my Queen," said Greta.

The gown in question had long been one of Belinda's favorites. It was made using the finest of silks imported from the far reaches of the world, and covered with pearls sewn right into the clothing, and had elegant gold thread making a beautiful pattern along the sleeves.

At least, the original one HAD looked like that. Greta had paid the castle's laundress to "accidentally" leave it out drying for an extra hour a couple of weeks ago, which had resulted in it getting "misplaced."

Greta had sold the real one (letting the laundress keep a few of the pearls for herself to buy her silence) to pay for a few pretty, if less opulent dresses for herself, as well as a "good enough" facsimile to the original.

The fake, which Belinda seemed to like just as much as the original, was made using cheaper fabrics bought from the elves next door, and had fake pearls and yellow fabric woven into it instead.

The design on the sleeves wasn't quite the same, but Belinda never had been one for the finer details. Greta pulled it out along with a fresh set of silk underclothes and set them on the bed. Then she walked over to Belinda and quickly pulled the queen's night gown and underwear off, placing them in a basket next to the mirror.

"I simply love the way spidersilk feels on my body," said the voluptuous woman as she closed her eyes and caressed herself. "Its the most wonderful thing in the world."

"So I've heard my queen," said Greta as she fastened a bra onto her half-sister and began pulling a pair of panties up her smooth, soft legs.

They were actually regular silk ones and had belonged to Greta. The maid was wearing the real ones, and was amazed at how much nicer they felt on her body.

Like the queen's dresses, the maid had grown tired of being near such luxuries while not having a chance to enjoy them herself, so she had gradually been swapping out the queen's for her own.

The nightie and underwear she had just taken off Belinda were actually the queen's last real pair (Greta would be taking them with her tonight when she dropped the laundry off). All of the others were regular silk ones that had originally belonged to Greta. She had kept half of the real spider silk ones for herself, and sold the rest for a tidy profit.

Dressing the queen took another hour to finish. After getting her dress on and her hair done, she put on jewelry (all of it paste now, thanks to the machinations of the rest of the queen's maids) and applied make up (it seemed to take more layers now, partly because the maids had been stealing that too and replacing it with their own cheaper materials).

Eventually Queen Belinda was ready to take care of her daily obligations, looking every bit the queen she had for the past several years (well for the most part anyway).
