Forest of becomes literal for some Ame-nin

The day of the second exam has arrived Shisui, Temari, Gaara, and Kankuro went over to the designated spot in the yard of the academy, where teams were already waiting to be led to the next stage. ten minutes later a Jõnnin had arrived and loudly announced to the gathered shinobi to follow him to the stage of the next part of the exam.

As Shisui and his team walked after the Jõnnin, he couldn't help but look through the gathered crowd of Genin here. He noticed Ino staring right at him. she waved and smiled at him before returning her attention back to her teammates that were all girls.

"I think someone has a crush on you," Temari said. Shisui looked at her skeptically "Don't believe me just wait and you'll see" she said looking away.

Just then, Shisui felt a stare that was directed at him. He turned and saw that it was a girl with black hair and dark brown eyes. She is wearing her hair in two Chinese-style buns on her head with short fringe-bangs framing her face.

They were walking outside of the village, right up to a fence around a small forest. The trees were huge here, from the bottom of the forest, So this was where the exam would take place...

"Alright, listen up, you sorry brats!" A loud voice called and the attention was drawn to the shapely figure of Anko, who was standing on top of a stall next to the gate that led into the forest. Like yesterday, she seemed to be in a rather cheerful mood. "THIS! Is the Forest of ****!", Anko explained with a grand gesture towards the obvious forest behind her.

A groan. "Who would've guessed?", Shisui muttered. In an instant, his disinterest got him a retaliation he hadn't expected. A kunai had been flung right at him, and Shisui seeing it caught it which surprised everyone that he did but his team and he threw it back at her

"Anyways, back to topic.", she announced and held two scrolls aloft. "These two scrolls are called 'Earth scroll' and 'Heaven scroll', respectively. You will start off with one of them, and you'll have to find the other one before you come to the tower in the center of the forest. The time limit is 72 hours to do that!", she said loudly.

"So that means we'll either have to steal it or defeat a team to get their scroll... but we won't know which team has the matching scroll beforehand... man, that sucks.", Shisui heard someone complain.

"In other words, only half of the teams can advance to the next round?" A pink hair girl asked loudly, getting Anko's attention.

The proctor nodded. "Yup, that's right. But usually, it's far less than that. Other than your opponents, the forest isn't called the 'Forest of ****' for nothing.", she reminded the young Genin with her still unnervingly cheery voice. She scratched her head a moment in contemplation. "Anything I forgot? Oh yeah. Folks, you MUST NOT look into the scroll before you enter the tower. If you open the scroll before you're inside that building, you'll automatically be disqualified. In a pretty uncomfortable manner, if I might add.". She waited to see if anyone said anything before saying "Good good, now each team comes here and signs up. You'll be given a scroll and each team will be led to their entrance.", Anko finished her explanation and jumped down from the stall.

Slowly, the teams moved forward to register and receive their scroll, before being led away by the staff that stood ready there. Sometime later, it was Sand Ninja's turn. After signing up their names, they drew a number and were handed scroll. They got an Earth Scroll. The number, so they were told, corresponded to the gate where they would be entering the forest.

Shisui look at the number of the gate they were standing in front of now. Yup, this would be their starting point. A small clock over the entrance showed the countdown until the gate opened. Only five minutes, and then the second stage of the exam would begin.

When the doors to the Forest of **** swung open and Shisui and the others leaped into the forest. within fifteen minutes they ran into a team from the rain village "well look what we go here. looks like are first victims" the tall rain ninja said.

"I've heard enough out of you. Let's finish this quick I don't want to waste time on these guys" Gaara said.

"hey, Gaara shouldn't we follow these guys and get some intel from them. I mean if they have the same scroll as us we are just fighting an unnecessary battle" Kankuro asked.

"I don't care. they looked at me the wrong way. so they're going to die" Gaara said before the tall rain ninja threw five umbrellas in the sky. once the umbrellas were at their highest peak they started spinning and needles came flying out and headed right a Gaara, but Gaara used the sand in the Gord in his back as a shield.

Seeing that attack didn't work the rain ninja charged at Gaara "Sand Coffin" Gaara yelled and the rain ninja got covered in only his face was visible. at this time the umbrellas fell down in front to Shisui and Temari. so Shisui picked three up and threw one at Kankuro another at Gaara and held the other one to cover himself and Temari. Gaara then started controlling the sand to pick up the rain ninja in the sky "Sand Burial" and the sand collapsed in.

The other two rain ninja slowly backed away "Hear take the scroll please spare us" one of the rain ninjas said. but Gaara didn't he did sand coffin again but this time he just covered the face of the remaining rain ninja.

Kankuro walked up and picked up the scroll "we're lucky it's a Heaven scroll. now lets head to the tower" before walking off and everyone following.
