Extra Background and Guidelines for Writers

Adding characters: If you want to add a character, pretty much anything goes, but I would recommend that the story takes place in Estara, as it is the most fleshed out country, however, if you do want to set your story in a different country, feel free to do so. If you want to make your character magically active, see the rules of magic. If you want your character to be from another country, see the countries list.

This setting is based on the high middle ages, moving into the late middle ages. In other words, steel is the pinnacle of modern non-magical alloys, and most lighting is provided by candles or torches, etcetera, Standard fantasy fare.

In this setting, humanity is currently the only intelligent species.

This story has a persistent universe, and events such as crossovers between two arcs are completely possible. Additionally, actions characters take in one story may indirectly affect characters in another story.
