Chapter 35 by Rafael Rafael

How does the big meeting go?

Everything goes well all things considered

Your mother apologized with tear filled eyes to you as soon as you stepped trough the door. You couldn't help but start crying as well feeling a weight being lifted from your shoulders, there was nothing for you to fear here. Your father embraced you as well, telling you that your family would always love you no mater what.

After about an hour your and Alex families finally sat down at the large dinner table and started to discuss your future. Well discussion is a strong term for your parents basically having decided upon a plan in that keeps you and Alex doing something they would deem ill advised. Fortunately for all involved you and Alex pretty much agree to everything. Although you both play up your hesitations towards your parents ideas in order to not hand over all your power to them. If they knew that they where giving you and Alex basically what you wanted you would never be independent from them.

Firstly it was decided that you and Alex would stay at home and be tutored by your parents in homemaking and other important things for young parents to know. Skills that where sorely needed your mother lamented, the fact that you had never even done your own laundry once in your life being proof of how much you need to learn in the coming months.

Secondly it was decided that both you and Alex are to pursue college in order to (according to Alex's father) get proper jobs in the future to be able to take care of yourselves and your child. This decision also included that Alex where to get a job immediately (Alex's father already having a few of his contacts in mind) in order for him to start earning an income. When you suggested that maybe you should also get a job you where shoot down as the collective adults in the room declared that it would be quite enough with your upcoming pregnancy and full time studies for you to handle. There was a clear undertone that Alex was to take responsibility for knocking you up, something that Alex simply accepted stoically.

Thirdly it was decided that you and Alex where to be married at the end of the summer, about nine weeks away. You breathed a sigh of relief as it seemed your parents where aboard with the idea without you or Alex even suggesting it. Mr Cunningham even stated "No grandchild of mine is to be born a bastard." in order to drive home the point but was surprised that neither you nor Alex really argued against marriage. The very idea simply made you more aware of the ring dangling between your bosoms.

Finally the social difficulties where discussed. It was decided that your parents would be the ones to discreetly inform close friends and family about your change. This being something you where very grateful for. You really didn't want to be the one to break it to your grandparents that their grandson had been turned into a girl and been made pregnant by his best friend. Mr Cunningham and your dad would also deal with the bureaucracy of your transformation. Since being turned into a girl meant that you didn't have a valid ID or drivers license, neither did you technically have any form of education since your high-school diploma and grades where of your male self and your college applications where all in your male name. Luckily you had a lawyer in your future father-in-law and bureaucrat in your own father who would happily help you get all the paperwork done.

After several hours of discussion everything gets settled. You feel relaxed, with the support of your family (including your future in-laws and husband) everything will be alright. You place a hand over your stomach, over what will soon become your baby. You can do this.
