Ed manages to find some food

Ed followed the edge of the cliff until he was able to find a safe way down to the shore and approached the waters edge cautiously reasoning that a similar creature to whatever had attacked him earlier may be in the vicinity.

He drank some water nervously, mimicking the nervousness of a gazelle who knows it is prey but has **** but to drink at the water hole.

As he felt his stomach rumble he looked around for anything to eat and was relieved to see some bushes nearby with what appeared to be some berries. Ed gathered what he could from the bushes and stared at the red berries. In the real world he would never eat a berry that he was unfamiliar with fearing that he would be poisoned but his stomach growled louder.

He picked up a branch to help him reach some of the berries further inside the bush, not only did he manage to gather more berries but also insects which crawled over the branch. He searched the area further obtaining more leaves, berries and writhing insects then retreated back to the bottom of the cliff he'd earlier climbed down.
