Dyna Montague wins the strip competition!

Two monks gathered the offering plates and brought them to Guyld, bowing respectfully before setting them down in front of the altar; Roi thought it was amusingly a bit like watching the offertory at a local church service. When the two raised their heads, they were wearing pitying expressions. "Well?! Count it!" the mortified Guyld insisted, keeping one hand between her trembling legs while using the other to point at the plates with one shaking finger.

"... Is there really any point, m'lady?" the monk asked, looking between the two plates. The difference in gold adorning the inside of the two was terribly obvious.

"... Don't you two have anything left in your pockets?!" she sobbed, biting back further tears.

Roi patted her on the back sympathetically. "Miss Guyld, it's hard for women like us to win in this world. Some others just have a physical advantage and greater... experience," she coughed, trying her best not to call her captain a whore. She felt a certain kinship with the defeated, given her own womanly assets, which were so lacking compared to the captain's.

"I-I... I don't lose, though...!" Guyld sniffled, now turning to rest her head upon the other girl's shoulder and rubbing her face into the rough-spun tunic. Roi could feel a web of snot being rubbed clean against her and began to feel repulsed, but allowed it. This, too, was the duty of a knight...

"C-Captain Dyna? Is it over?" Ro asked, turning her head back and forth as she sat in the chair, which now faced against an unexciting, empty wall. She had dutifully kept that position, even as all the excitement went on around her. "Did we win?" Nobody responded, as everyone crowded around the center altar, some shouting adulation, others slinging bitter curses.

Dyna noted with some amusement that a portion of those angry now were dropping coins in her plate earlier, when they thought nobody would be watching them.

"Can't beat me at this sort of thing! Even harder than winning in a sword contest. Well, seeing as I don't really have anything left to take off," Dyna admitted, throwing her arms wide and doing a quick dance atop the altar, spinning in a circle to show every side of her tanned flesh. "Unless you and Roy fancy taking a turn, I suggest you grab up my sword and we beat feet out of here. After all, if those angry monks start swinging, I don't have any armor left to defend myself with!"

Roi took that as a joke; she couldn't imagine the captain losing, armor or no armor. Still, she dutifully retrieved the sword-belt. "What about the rest of it?"

"Eeeh, just leave it. That stuff's all cheap anyway, and with those bat images, they'll probably throw it in the garbage out back! I'll pick it up later!" Dyna cackled, raising one hand in a "stand aside" gesture as she leaped into the crowd, which parted like a certain sea. It seemed that as pleased as they'd all been, none of them had grown that boldness to lay a hand on her. "My adoring public! What do you all say? Next time Fauxbright holds a sermon, I expect to see you all boycott it in favor of my training drills!"

"... As if you ever wake up early enough to do anything at the same time as one of those sermons," Roi sighed, while she slapped her sister's cheek gently to awaken her from her dopey daydreaming.

"You... Yoooou... You'll rue the day, Dyna Montague! You'll ruuuuue!" Guyld complained, clutching her dress over her nakedness now. "I'll... I'll crash one of your training drills! Then you'll ruuuue!"

"Heh hehehe! So you're saying you're going to become a knight now? Then my plan worked perfectly!" Dyna winked, throwing her sword belt over one shoulder and walking out, as the crowd stood in awe of her naked hips. "Let's go, Ro, Roy!"

"Roi, ma'am..." the younger sister corrected, supporting her older sister by one arm as they followed their captain through the crowd. Even she was having a hard time keeping her eyes off of her captain's naked, jiggling bottom. "Milady... You're not going to dress at all? You're going into the town square naked?"

"It's the dead of night! And I believe I thoroughly demonstrated how little I care if any of these holy stiffs get a stiffy off of my nakedness," the knight captain giggled again. "Let's turn naked into the new fashion!!"

"... With all due respect, I'd rather we didn't," Roi grumbled, beginning to wonder what her night would have been like if she'd stayed back at the barracks and scrubbed the floors. She dragged her sister along, following her nude captain with an irritable frown.
