Danny remained silent for most of the way home, simply nodding from time to time. It all felt so absurd, so unbelievable. And worse of all, it was his fault. The news that the book had been stolen would also seriously harm Luke, as he had probability spent most of the day searching for it. Danny knew his friends needed to rest, the time for facing their problems would only come later.

Danny's hearty begun to accelerate. He didn't know if Becky had already forgiven Luke, but honestly even the possibility of reapproachment made him a little bit happier. Even thou they had to face a demonic book, Danny was sure together they could manage to succeed.

-Ok. I'll call him. Let's see at my place in the evening, around 8. My parents aren't home.-
