Continue on to the test

I smiled slightly at the motion of the doctor, but we were now at another door with a sign saying 'Caste testing room'.

The doctor touched his hand to a pad by the door and it clicked open. He held it open saying, "Go on in."

I took a breath and stepped inside, if what I saw in the hallway was an indication of this city I think I'll be liking it.

Inside the room was a chair with a large cap over the headrest. Restraints sat on the chair obviously designed to hold someone down. I must have shown some worry as the doctor chuckled, "the restraints are part of the test the machine registers your reaction to them."

He gently pushed me in, "you need to strip and sit in the chair." He walked over to a terminal and began typing in commands as the machine came to life.

I stooped for a moment this was at the moment of decision.
