Clothes replacement.

To KT's surprise he was now suddenly fully dressed. He was wearing simple blue jeans, underwear, socks and sneakers. On top he had a light blue t-shirt with a SCIENCE N°1 print on it and even a dark summer jacket. The clothes looked nice, covered him completely and he could feel every detail of their texture on his skin and under his fingers. He didn't know how she did it but it was amazing.

"Wahoo. How do you do that?" he asked, astonished that his sister had finally created something useful to him.

"It's extremely complex, you wouldn't understand. also be careful, I can't do pockets. And don't try to remove those yourself, the interface is needed. Now come with me, we have to go to the mall and then more testing."

"What are we going to do at the mall?"

"I'm starving and this new pizza place on the food court looks nice. I also need some more reference so we'll go visit a few clothing stores. All the while I'll monitor the data from this test. Come on, I'll even buy you pizza."

"Can I really go to the mall like this?
You are sure your invention will keep working?"

"Don't worry, there's absolutely zero chance for you to end up less covered than you currently are during our visit to the mall."

K-T quickly went along with this plan. He was rarely so well dressed going out and the promise of free pizza sealed the deal.

As part of her government grant Emily had a futuristic self driving car designed by another genius at her disposal. The thing looked out of a sci-fi novel of the 60's a fully transparent ovoid shape with two white seats inside of it and four ball like wheels attached to it. no motor or controls were visible.

It was sunny day and a lot of their neighbors were in their yards now that work was slowly getting phased out. As K-T and Emily walked to the cars they attracted every eyes on them, this kind of car was a true novelty even in this new Era.

Emily simply asked the car to go to the mall and it began driving. Pedestrians and the people in other cars couldn't stop themselves from staring at the strange almost see-through vehicles as it slalomed through traffic towards the mall.

At the mall everyone was looking at them, it was a bit normal in a sense. His sister was walking around in a lab coat with an high tech gizmo on her arm and weird glasses. She was barely looking where she was going,

The visit to the mall was rather boring. They did not go eat right away. They went to visit various stores, attracting more stares from customers and vendors alike. K-T got a few smiles from various girls as they walked around what felt like the entire mall. all that Emily was doing was picking clothes, holding them in front of K-T and scanning them with a small wand like device that had some sci-fi red scanning laser coming out of it.

At some point, tired of hearing him complain they finally got to the food court and order their food. The young girl take the order giggled wildly when K-T asked for extra sausage on his pepperoni pizza and finally having received their food K-T got his promised reward.

"So, how has it been going? Anything to mention that I should know? Any valuable data to mention?" asked his sister between bites of her mushrooms and sausage pizza.

"Not really. Those are the damn most comfortable clothes I have ever worn. If you could fix the pocket issue they would be perfect and no one would ever want to wear anything else." he answered before getting back to eat his pizza, under the captivated eyes of the girl at the register. K-T wondered if didn't have a shot with this girl, she really seemed to like him.

"Really? That good a result on this version? I knew those chumps from Ottawa were complete frauds when they told me that it was a failure. They gave it away saying it couldn't work or be improved."

"Still, I know that all this tech babble is beyond me and creating solid holograms like this is straight out of Star Trek. But how do you manage to create them using nanites inside my body?"
