Calm, cool and collected

Xander could see the moment of recognition in Cordelia's eyes. He could almost see the way Cordelia was going to rage out on his new 'Genie'. When Cordelia took a moment to look from Anya to Him, he knew he had to act.

"I wish everyone would calm down and just be cool about this."

"Wish granted." Anya replied automatically.

Xander let out a relieved breath as Cordelia calmed down. The dawning outrage disappeared completely subsumed into a cocked eyebrow and haughty raised chin, "Oh, its you. I'm not making any more wishes, demon girl. Xander and I are A-okay. So why don't you run along and try and trick someone else."

Anya shrugged, "I wouldn't even if I could. I grant wishes for Xander now." Anya smiled, "And only Xander, I'm his personal wish granting genie. Not one wish will I grant for self involved little rich girls who don't know how good they've got it."

Apparently that was the best he was going to get. No screaming or shouting, no fisticuffs or voilence. Cool like a cold war what with the tension all over the place. Xander paused and thought about it. That was still better than being at the center of an epic two way bitch fight with slapping, scratching and hair pulling. But it was going to suck to be stuck between the two sniping at one another.

If only there was a way for him to... Xander looked from one woman to the other. This was probably going to go off the rails somewhere down the line but what choice did he have?

"I wish you two would be nice to each other." Xander said slowly, worried about what the outcome of this would be.

"Wish granted." Anya replied and her face transformed into a beaming smile.

Cordelia returned the smile. She then stepped to Anya and hugged the other woman. "A personal genie? That's so great. I'm so happy you get to be Xander's personal genie."

"Thank you." Anya said congenially. She hugged Cordelia back, "And it's so great You and Xander are patching things up. You make a cute couple."

"I know." Cordelia smirked, she raised a hand from where they rest around Anya's waist and teasingly tapped her lower lip with her forefinger, "Y'know... I was just telling Xander about how we have to be open and honest about the ground rules of new our relationship. Like, if I want to kiss hot girls I want him to watch. If he wants to kiss hot girls I want to watch."

"That seems like a great idea. Honest communication is important in a relati-" Anya's voice was silenced as Cordelia put her forefinger on Anya's lips.

Cordelia ran her finger across Anya's lower lip. Cordelia gave Xander a smoldering stare before turning back to look at Anya. "Oh, you're so warm."

"I need to check your temperature. To see if your HOT."Cordelia pressed her forefinger into Anya's lips. Anya after a second opened her lips and slipped Cordelia's finger into her mouth, tracing the finger with her tongue before she closed her lips around Cordelia's forefinger and sucked.

Both women groaned in a highly erotic way, making Xander swallow hard. It made other parts of him hard, too.

That wasn't exactly what he meant when he had said 'nice'. But with the good luck spin the wishes had he shouldn't have been surprised.

And it was better than the two of them fighting.
