Call your D&D group

You lie back and stare into the sky as you think through your options you don't want to go back home not with your dad there you just hoped it was him and no one else was in on it you could only let out a heavy sigh as you would pull out your phone it did make you smile as you saw all the worried messages and the get well soon ones as you would scroll down a smile across your face as tears of happiness would drop down on to your chest.

You would begin to text with them it only made you smile more how quickly they responded even asking if you could still play tonight but one thing would seem odd as you messaged them they did not seem to know about your change but you knew you could just tell them about that latter, but then you would pause to get your stuff you would have to go home and you did not want that right now but then you thought you could try something you glanced around and could see no one was paying any attention to you as you would hold a hand behind your back and begin to picture your character sheet and dice bag and you would let out a pleased smirk as you felt them in your hands as you would bring them around to check as you would smile seeing it there as you look to your phone and see all the others can make it the only question is can you?
